Yeah does seem quite quiet down here. confused

I've only been 'playing' with couples and gals for a few months now but it seems that as a single guy you have more success initially meeting out socially than trying to make first contact on the net.

I am sure you are right, I have posted loads to this site and AdultFriendFnders and more. Only about 5 sniffs and a couple of lasting contacts to show for it all.
I assume that people either get lots of, much better contacts than me, or so swamped with 'freeloaders' that they give up responding. It can be quite depressing as I am sure there are lots of good people to share with and I am really not all that bad. But how do I get that across to the right people?
What's with the 'anatomy' interest in your profile, or is it obvious!

Tough one. How do you get your personality across in an email, chat room or by PMing somebody? Not an easy task. What you can achieve in a couple of hours in a social face-to-face situation can take weeks by web correspondence.
For me it's firstly getting a response to a initial message (hardest part), then you need to build on that connection by remaining friendly, respectful, polite as well as being easy-going and light-hearted. I never ask to meet initially or are pushy in any way. After a number of emails your personality should start to come through.
Of course your potential play partner has be right for you too and this build up of correspondence will help you establish that.
I'm sure there are tons of good guys out there in the same boat, but if I was a part of a couple or a single gal looking for a guy. I would be very cautious and picky about who I chose to contact and correspond with. Far too many nutters out there.
Maybe there should be a review section of the site that is dedicated to play partners that have been tried, tested and verified. wink

I appreciate your long guide there to 'How to make contact'. It is difficult and of course I can only agree with you that potential 'play partners' must necessarily be cautious.
I am bound to say that anyone wouldn't have anything to fear from me, except possibly that I am not enough for them.
Of the various half contacts a couple of those I have turned away from because they looked a bit dubious.
I am pleased to see my 'anatomy' guess was right. Can I PM you a photo of mine? Or have I already been too forward. Oh dear that is my undoing (whoops!)
