Regarding the taking of photo's - do you mean an 'official SH photographer' as in for pics that will be posted on SH? or guests bringing cameras and taking pics as they wish with permission?
:dunno: I think quite a few of us followed IcePie's thread about the 'traffic light' system & have updated profiles as to our preferences for the publishing of pics - but Dawn's right, it's polite to ask, even if you're only in the background. Asking permission is a right ball-ache - but necessary!

Some members don't want to be in any pictures whether they are being posted or not. We have to respect that :D

I put something about this in another thread. I think that, to keep most people happy, a 'photo corner' would be a good idea and ban camera's from most of the Munch. Jumping the gun a bit seeing as this will be my first munch but there you go, my tuppence worth!

Please can we not get too hung up about cameras, any munch I have been to and lets face it that is all of themthis year except 2............

Anyone that has had a camera out, has always asked meor any one I was standing / sitting/ snogging :oops: with if is was ok first , and anyone that was not happy has had the option of moving out of the way.
Very few people take cameras with them to the munches, in case they get lost, stolen or drinks spilt on them, and IMO that is the way it should stay, leave them at the hotelsfor later, when it is no longer a munch.
All this is getting away from the hard work NWC and her team have put in arranging this munch...............

So can I ask that anyone who does want to take a camera that they do not take any pictures of anyone without asking first. Even if someone is only in the background, please do not take any photos which might include someone who has not given permission. Anyone is seen to be taking photos without asking will be asked to leave the venue!
