Never made it to the casino.
Showing my age here .....but I do recall the catacombs at Wolverhampton.

I'm too young to have ever been to Wigan Casino but on the subject I have just finished an excellent book called Casino by Dave Shaw published by somebody who is into that sphere of music it was fascinating and I'm sure it would even more for those who were there.
Just a little info :small-print:

Not a couple but was a regular at the all nighters for may a year, now go to King Georges Hall Blackburn, brings back some great memories.

Im not a couple either but just thought id let you know I used to love my casino days or should I say nights
even worked in MrD's till 3am then go to dance in the main room afterwards. Then on to the all dayer after a quick brekkie in Rons Cafe lol
Saw myself dancing on a tv programme not so long ago too how embarrasing redface

HI i was born and raised in Wigan i started to go to the beachcomber when i was about 13 then of course as i got older moved on to the cas they were great nights and peeps used to travel from all over UK if you werent carefull you could get knocked out on the dance floor lol what with spins and back drops happy days or nights lol , WE still live in the WIGAN area couple both 45 feel free to pm us xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx .

Hi all
Went to the casino EVERY week in the last 2 or 3 yrs of its reign. Also went to the Morcambe Pier when it closed. I still have vast amounts of vinyl plus thousands of mp3's if anybody wants em (not if u r on dial up tho - takes too long). Got lots of memorabelia from the place, plus a full set of anniversary badges.
