your starting to scare me
Step away from the barbie Puppy!
redface Whincy has scared the bejezus outta me by informing me in no uncertain terms that Pirates didn't use planks - that idea was the toned down version of events made for TV!
At great risk to myself & a fond desire NOT to have my bits taken out & nailed to a mast...
dunno fuck me if she will find one in the middle of a field :dunno:
...as I was saying, the missus has ordered me to this up!
Honey, you are the mast! And if my memory serves me well, someones already stuck a nail through it innocent
And as far as the puppy goes- I only want to pat it!
....and prick it, and mark it with B, and stick it on the barbie for the skipper & me!

From us, it's 172 miles- and I do believe it's across at least 2 time zones to the place where the people ride tractors & chew straw... lol

Wellll you see it’s 135 miles, so by Winchy’s reckoning I must be heading into Time zone 2 :lol2:, nearly 5 hours by train, 3 changes of station…. And you’ve never seen me trying to negotiate trying to get from one platform to another, even trying to work out which platform I need to be on have ya??? rolleyes :lol2: Add to that, me trying to travel light which is impossible , hauling stuff on and off trains…. Then the shop bit to get a butty and a drink is half a mile down the train cos I always pick the carriage which is furthest away  Let’s just say it’s safer for Virgin Staff and the public in general if I fly!! :lol2:
Whereas Southwest Air promise to deliver me, relaxed and unscathed within an hour to Bristol Airport  My lovely man will then pick me up from said Airport and deposit me 40 mins later at a picturesque canalside campsite where Winchy will be getting it in the rear, Wino will be hotting things up with his chilli and Sassy and Fire will be ‘flaking’ by this time ;) and I just have to figure out where I am going to plug in my hairdryer??? :giggle:
just make sure your not in the canal when you plug it in :giggle:
hi just to let you know we will be the even if we can only stay for one night we will be there

Now there's a thought.... just how far away fom the canal are we??? :eeek: I mean, what if I was to have too much red and then get a little lost on my way back from doing what comes naturally behind the bushes.... and I ended up all wet.... :giggle:
And watch out for the duckpond which is on a direct path between the campsite and the toilets

Fear not wenchy, I’ll protect you from a good ducking
Phew! TY Stormy kiss
In the meantime.......I have questions! :jagsatwork:
Right- we're seasoned campers, and have all the gear we might need (apart from tent pegs- who the feck has been stealing all the tent pegs?!?!) but as it's just for a weekend would like to whittle it down to the essentials.
Firstly, when I replenish the tent pegs ( evil ) can anyone who went to the last one remember if the ground was ok for normal pegs? I remember one trip to Scotland when we needed Bruce Willis' drill from "Armageddon" lol
Secondly, again to those who've been before- what's the deal with food? I have a vague recollection of a kitty before- but I also know Winey's doing a chilli....other than that do we cook our own stuff? Or do it communally?
Shall we bring a gazebo for cooking under if it's inclement?
BTW- remember, I'm holding RPM's spicy chicken to ransom......the ransom is to be paid in Rum......
Heeeeelp!
XX Winchy XX
