Wishmaster, can you confirm that you are NOT restricting the number of single guys that attend this munch. As you know, munches are open to ALL members of swinging heaven, regardless of their relationship status. Ta!

It seems that yet again single guys are being discriminated against and that means that this isn't organised in the true spirit of a Munch! I know a further post was made to say why they were not allowing anymore single guys, but that only made it worse!! OK, so there are more single guys than single females or couples on here - so why restrict the majority?
A Munch is purely a social event, so the balance of single females, couples or single guys should never be relevent, anymore than it would be relevent if they were right or left handed. If the first 120 people who applied were all single guys of long standing on the Site, what would you have done then?
When people organise private parties, they can choose who they like to attend, but they don't have the privilege of their post being stickied, EVEN Mods. If people abuse that privilege, then it will be taken away from them.

Well I've had no reply to my PM regarding the munch and single men so I am assuming that single men are now allowed as per the munch guideline.
Munches are not for play so the social setting should not preclude anyone from attending, apart from the normal membership and joining date rules.
Single men - line up - the evening is yours! As long as you lot don't break the buildings' loading requirements.

If you read page 4 of this thread you will see that I have made my position on single men quite clear. If this is still a problem then I will reclassify the meeting as a private party and make it invite only as it is my 40th birthday also.

It's because YOU decided it was going to be a party instead of a munch! YOU who changed the rules. What has that got to do with the mods?
All the mods done wasUNsticky it when you finally said it was a party and not a munch dunno

The people I feel for are the genuine munch organisers, this site has a superb munch circuit going on - it would be a crying shame to see it all ruined because of people trying to organise parties under the guise of a munch sad

Yep ,quite clear to me - not a Munch, shouldn't be a Munch, shouldn't be stickied and Mods shouldn't have to keep running around wasting our time because you want your cake and eat it. If you had said right at the beginning that it was a party, YOU wouldn't have caused all these problems!

Case in point - the very first SH munch I attended was predominantly male. Not only predominantly male but also predominantly heterosexual, but since it was a social gathering and not a fuckfest, who cared? A good time was had by all. biggrin
