Hi Helihead (and all other new users to SH)
What is a Munch?
A munch is a social meeting in a totally neutral environment, often somewhere like a pub, where people can meet others with similar interests. As there's no play everyone can relax and it gives newbies a chance to ask questions of the more experienced without any fear of getting jumped on.
You'll find organised Swingers Munches 'stickied' at the top of the Let's Meet Up forum. Usually they are centrally organised by one or two people, with the exact location kept secret between those that have been invited. Getting an invite most likely involves getting registered on the forum and PM'ing (sending a Private Message via the forum) to the organiser asking to be invited - it's that simple. However, nothing is fixed in stone, so make sure you read the Munch post carefully to find out what to do in each case.
In this case, for the Beds Munch you will need to be a recognised user of either the forum or the chat room but as the munch is still some 5 months away you will probably be well known by then. Unknown users asking for an invite now will be added to a reserve list and included at a later date when they have been more active on the site.

Ok, helihead, I understand, but munches are the best way to get to know people and, as stated, there is no play expected (due to the very public nature of the venues).

Likewise, you're only showing 4 posts in the forum and I haven't seen your nick in the chat room either.
Until you are both better known I'll put you on the reserve list. The munch is 5 months away so if you do become regulars to SH you shouldn't have any problems getting on the main list. Sound fair enough?

Hi wishmaster,
I would like a provisional invite to the party please. I am a regular on the chat room (think we've exchanged insults lol) and it will be a chance to experience my second munch after the 29th Jan one in the South East.
If there are people attending in the Dorset area I may be able to share the costs of travel by collecting them as I will hire a car for the weekend. Bit cold on the motorbike biggrin

No probs Andy,
Allocation is done purely on merit and if Denise has acceptted you for the Essex Munch then I can't see any problems for you coming to the Beds one 4 months later - although it will be the end of May and a damn site warmer so maybe a bike ride will be ok after all, plus, don't forget, ladies tend to snuggle up closer on the back of a bike!
And yes, we have traded insults... hehehe ..... but all in good humour..... cya there m8 - you're on the list.
