just to say didn't know many people at last nights event but was good to put faces to names and make new acquaintances who i hope will become more familiar to me when on chat. thanks must go to cocksnoggers and co for their time and effort in organising the event but would also like to pass on special mention and thanks for Fabio for his organization of hotels, taxis etc. thanks a lot. The atmosphere was definately worth the 3hour trip! and finally respect to the bar lady at the venue...cider and black rules!!!
hopefully get to know more people for next time.

This was our first Yorkshire social and we must say that we had a fantastic time. It is very clear to see that there is a lot of effort put in to place with this one and for only per person you know this is not a money making exercise like some socials we have attended. One of the things we really liked was the badges although we did have to remember to take them off before we got home as they were a little naughty – Mr GnB walking into KFC with his badge on was clearly not the best idea.
Unfortunately as everything there is one thing that let the night down. We had hoped that from 1st July 2007 we would no longer come home with the smell of smoke in our hair and clothes. Although we spent all night in doors it was impossible to escape the thick layer of smoke surrounding the place as smokers has decided that outside was just a little too far and took up residence just outside the ladies. We have nothing against smokers what so ever we just feel it such a shame that this will remain one of the strongest memories on an otherwise great night.

Thanks Jase and Lai hunnies for another memorable night....unfortunately i was not at my best the gammy toes put paid to that....anyway i enjoyed myself and it was wonderful to meet all the 'newbies' that have chatted in the room......
and was fantastic to meet all my friends again and catch up with all the latest gossip.
Can't wait til the next one guys
