We too have a son of that age and it makes me shudder to think someone of that age is trying to swing :shock:
Surely there are other things they should be trying out and enjoying before they give swinging a go? :shock:
Personally I don't think many of the youngsters are so much interested in the whole package of a swinging lifestyle - meet folks, make friends with them, socialise and then maybe shag them wink

I'm of the opinion that they just think it's a fast track to a free shag without the expense of having to buy someone a bacardi breezer first rolleyes

Arron, this is a site for over 18's. You are over 18, and therefore are welcome here. smile

If people want to raise the issue of age in relation to Swinging, then it belongs in a seperate thread in the cafe, not on your 'Let's Meet up' thread.
However, some people have no qualms about singling people out when they have an opinion.

Not all swingers follow the above route. We shag them first, then socialise, then possibly make friends and although we were youngsters once it would stretch the truth to claim that we still are. It takes all sorts which is a good thing. Without the diversity of approach, age etc this site would become very stale.
Live and let live seems a very reasonable attitude to me.

You are absolutley right Venus maybe it is a touch of the green eyed monster aimed at one so eligible to be a member of the site and willing to open his mind maybe it is just a case of wanting to spoil a young mans pleasure seeking either way it's not pretty and ageist ....... how sad dunno

I agree that some people around the age of 19 are not mature enough to swing..... old enough yes, but age is just a number when someone just doesn't have the right attitude for it yet. However, lots of older people get into swinging for the wrong reasons or behave inappropriately at meets cos they just don't have what it takes to be a swinger. Equally plenty of young people have got a great attitude and are well mature enough to swing even though they are only just old enough to vote.
Each to their own.... I used to swing with people much younger than me and still do occassionally. If you choose not to swing with young people, fair does, but don't have a go at people who are young just cos you wouldn't swing with them.... EVERYONE over the age of 18 is welcome on this site... That is, unless they behave like a prat and get themselves banned..... hey, and we ban plenty of old farts too!

im only 20 and the other half 23 we have met people on here, shagged them, made friends with them etc. ive had a great time and find u all a lovely bunch and i hope none of u are mad at me and saying im too young. i do understand your point and i think its up to the individual - for example young couples are a little different to a single person. im not sure what do you think? im feeling very out of my place now after reading this sad

Personally i would not want to swing with someone who is 19 but that is only because they would make me feel so bloody old! Saying that, a 19 year old might not want to swing with me lol

Each to their own! Diversity, thats what makes it all so very interesting and enjoyable. If we all liked the same thing then there would be some very lonely people in this world!
Age is just a number and if someone is mature enough to handle the lifestyle at age 19 then good luck to them. A lot of people will never be mature enough to handle swinging and for them, age will never give them the maturity needed!

Great way to put things Naughty. Each to their own, If I could only remember back to when I was 19, I started even earlier than that, but I won't say on here exactly how old.
