While packing up our tent after another fantabulous North Wales swing camp at the weekend (thanks to deancannock) there was a discussion about how great it would be if we could also arrange a camp where there were swinging facilities. I said that I would research it, which is what I've done so here goes .....
Before I start, I want to make it clear that I have nothing to do with the club, I have never even been and should people decide that they want me to arrange this, I will not make a penny out of it.
Youtopia is in North Yorkshire and is set in 11 acres of land and so is very private. They have a camping field which is suitable for both tents and trailers. The club is only open at night times as it is cleaned during the day, they have a wet area and sauna, orgy rooms and a couple of lockable private rooms together with bar and social areas. It has a licenced bar but if you prefer you can take your own drinks. The only thing they insist is that while in the club you buy soft drinks from them.
If we could get enough people (70 max) then the club will be closed to the public and will be for our use only. They only take camping bookings for the whole weekend so anyone who booked would have to stay both Friday and Saturday night. I would only advertise this on SH but cant guarantee that only SH members will be in attendance (as there's bound to be someone who asks for a +2).
Prices include entrance to the club and are as follows: (Membership would not be required for this weekend).
£70 per couple for the weekend.
£80 per single person :eeek:
I know, that's horrific but I would suggest that single guys and single girls could maybe pair up and become a couple (for numbers purposes only). You wouldn't need to camp together (unless you wanted to) as the camping field is mahossive so number of pitches is not an issue. They only allow a limited number of single guys so this would also solve this problem too. I did tell the owner that this price for single guys was a bit steep and he said that this could be looked at if we decide to book.
Hook up's are an extra £3 per night but are limited. There are only 6-8 and would be available on a first come first served basis.
Toileting/shower facilities are available.
If you would like to camp but don't have a tent or other equipment then this is available to hire. (I'm not sure of prices but can find out if anyone's interested). If you are totally against camping, the owners have 2 double bedrooms which they hire out for £35 per night. This does not include breakfast (which is not available) or entrance to the club (price to be confirmed).
I also asked if we could hold a bring your own food type BBQ on the Sat afternoon where other local couples who were not part of the event could attend. I thought that this might be a nice social idea and he said that would be fine.
So there you go. Now it's down to you. I have added a poll to see if people would be interested and when. (I know that there are already a few socials booked in for the rest of this year and not sure if people's pockets can stretch to another one). If you have any more questions or ideas please feel free to comment on this thread and I can put it to the owners.
