Look at where he is from....
They are all strange up there.
We have two well known fella's in my area who walk around with not a lot on! One wears a pair of tight Lycra shorts and goes around on roller skates (raised a lot of money for charity). Another is a biker who wears a tight pair of leather zip up undies lol
Both a pretty well accepted as different. If they were both nakkid - would be another story I suspect!
This guy turned up at court with nothing on twice! He's making a point and paying for it - with breakfast and a warm place...
Yes its a waste of tax payers money but I'm guessing they've had enough of him as he's taking no notice of the law.
Personally - I don't have a problem with it! But wouldn't be impressed doing me shopping in Asda and seeing him dangling his watnots over the sausage counter!!

"During his appearance, Gough told the court that if members of the public were offended by his nakedness then the problem was with them and not with him. "
It's gotta be done flower.. how else can the Justice Secretary Man of Straw substantiate the figures?
Pensioners not paying their poll tax, little old ladies parking on yellow lines, these all contribute to the Govt figures that crime is being detected at a fantastic rate and that the perpetrators are doing bird 'cos, of course, not only are they tough on crime, but the causes of crime... rolleyes
Meanwhile, the real criminals go scot free of course.
This is not just Britain it's Brown's Britain..
Years ago he would be in a nut house...now it is called " care in the community ".
this guy has been about for years, saw a programme about him and a girlfriend on channel 4 years ago and he had bee arrested many times then, he is hardly new news.
I have no problem with him just wish we would stop wasting tax payers money on him!!!

nice rant......
are you sure it isn't Scottish law he has been done under? if so... nothing to do with brown and straw.... those powers were devolved to the scottish parliment
The report states "He has spent most of the past two-and-a-half years in prison at an estimated cost to the taxpayer of more than £200,000."
I went on a museum visit of prisons and jails in Nottingham (I lead an exciting life) and the publications were saying that it costs £38,000 per prison per year. 2 x £38,000 does not make £200,000 in my books.

Breach of the Peace is Common Law; it existed in Scotland before devolution.

Remind me, which political party foisted "care in the community" on us?
Oh ye with short memories :P
ihave a bix of mixed feelings about this story, to be theres nothing wrong with a naked body but i have to admit i have 3 daughters and i wouldnt like them to be walking down the street to have a naked man walking towards them, i think you have to think about children in these kind of thing, how many of you honestly would be ok with a naked man talking to your child on the streets?

Copies offending posts and stores them to memory for future!
