I was always envious as a child watching that intro to Grange Hill. (at least, all that I could make out through the wire mesh over the screen.)
They had propper sausages and everything! And they were allowed real cutlery!
I remember it well though, forming a strong part in our day at the institution... every day, come rain or shine we were aloowed out for a shuffle around the grounds... and this theme tune was playing as our long sleeved jackets were loosened for a few minutes to allow us the spoon (plastic) our mush for tea... before being tucked up again in our lovely soft rooms..awwww

Aye, brill song, Zammo was singing a bit of it on GMTV, he looks exactly the same only a bit thicker round the equator and less hair on the north pole! :haha:
