im starting this thread after a blitz of responses in the chatroom (apologies for swearing).
It appears that there is a whole generation of people who require educating in the delights of the following
Dangermouse
Hong kong phooey
The water margin
the flashing blade
the adventure game
etc....
i would like to know if I am the only one who remembers such gems. did I live my existance in a complete fantasy world or was this all reality? i need re-assurance that i'm not losing my marbles.

Yes I do rememnber them but I watched them in the early 80's not the 70's...
They were good at the time, but have no grate fondness for them now smile
I remember the first two, along with Thundercats,He-man, Bagpuss, Rainbow, Viki the Viking and Sooty amongst others.
Kids nowadays have no knowledge of proper kids TV, just stick them infront of an animal talking bollocks and they're quite happy lol

Ohhh I loved the adventure game, that was the one with the aspidistra wasn't it? And you had to get across the grid thing without walking into the Vortex, fantastic, I always wondered how they made the kids disappear! rolleyes There was all the early manga stuff too like Battle of the Planets biggrin
Dont worry Ophoeus you're not losing your marbles babe, cause I remember them all, very very clearly.
I even know that Mr Tigs (who is considerably younger than me) remembers some of them as well

I remember some from the 80's - Dangermouse ( top 'toon ), Hong Kong Fooey ( s'alright, I s'pose ), The Flashing Blade ( utter crap in original dub - much funnier with comedy dub from early 90's BBC1 Saturday kid's show ( forgot the name ) ), The Adventure Game ( should never have ended! Neither should the Crystal Maze - same thing I know ) lol
I remember them to except adveture game redface but my all time favourite kids tv character was edd the duck whatever happened to him???????
And blue where did you get that pic of the great Danger mouse but what about his great side kick Penfold eh chief??
