Good God....send for Freckledbird.......!
Some important issues have been raised. First I want to clarify that there was no threat in my previous post: I said how it makes me feel, which is very angry and protective towards people being abused by a nasty person. I said it graphically, as I generally do. I teach, and I've long ago learned that conjuring up a mental picture is the best way to communicate an idea.
Then there is the issue of freedom of speech, raised by the question of censorship. This is very important, but, and this is also important, that freedom only exists within limits. The only way to guarantee freedom is to be prepared to protect it from extremes. It is better in general to allow more freedom than less, but there will always be an outer limit.
Then there is the issue of public image. As a community our public image is not good - perverts etc. The story is on a part of the site that people will go to in order to be titillated. I guess it is pretty popular. The story in question exhibits attitudes that most of us would, I think, not support. But by publishing it we are inviting people to think we do condone or support it, and so do our public image no favours.
So the final issue raised is how far our decision not to censor - in general a good one - puts us at risk in this particular case by inviting opprobrium and in so doing risks limiting our freedoms rather radically.
I am glad I am not a mod and don't have responsibility for making these decisions. I don't know if publication was right or not. I know the item disgusted and angered me, and I hate the fact that men in general are often cast in the light of bastards like the antihero of the story. But that's life, I guess.

Wicked Wizard
If your attention had not been drawn to that specific story, you would have probably missed it and it would have generally gone unnoticed. People tend to skip through things that they don't like and concentrate on the ones they do.
I've just read the story for the first time and I thought it was quite good, it was thought provoking, if I was married I might think "Is he on about my wife?". This isn't my sort of literature, nor fantasy, but I think that the story is reminiscent of classic "voice in your head" writings.
From reading about cuckolds when I first looked the word up some time ago, one of the reasons for cuckolding is the enjoyment of the humiliation it brings, just as some women are turned on when they are told how dirty they are. This story could be part of one of those fantasies, or could have been written generically for that area of fetish. I think some of the complaints have been rather over the top.

Utter Fantasy.
There is no realm of truth in this whatsoever.
Always best to be open and honest. If you tell the truth you cannot be shot down!
Just read the story - totally inoffensive IMO.
Not my taste, but a little bit of fantasy thats all.
Never mind,changed my mind.
I read the story and I think it was fairly bog standard. There was very little skill or ability on show. This type of writing is about the kind of thing guys imagine and experience with regard to cuckolding. So I didn't see anything particularly way beyond. Just someone being nasty and a bit silly.
