well i woke up this working and was excited as was finaly going to get to go to a meet , ginger jo's the meet was in a place in manchester that i was unfamiliar with but thought ye should be easy enough to get to. so left altricham at for a 12 meet , basically ive had the worse day ever , as couldnt find the place and had to get a taxi from a place that looks like if you spend for than 5 mins there you get shot in a drive by , finaly make to the venue meeting at before hand and miss them by what must have been 5 or 10 mins then i try to call and my phone packs up , arghh cant say how pissed off with myself and my bloody mobile i am neway i think should have an inoffensive nick name afta this one for my swinging name here on , please dont pull me apart im down as it is , thanks joey x

Did you not think of finding a local phone box, and calling from there?
Considered going into a local mobile phone shop and see if they would quickly charge up your phone for you, that is if the meeting place is near a mobile phone shop?
If not never leave home without condoms and a charged phone for a meet!!

The AA route finder on their website would have taken you straight to the door of the meeting point, and given you a journey time too. Think you'll have to do some serious apologising to the right people.

In his first post it's obvious he didn't travel by car since he had to get a cab at the other end ... he's definitely not describing Altrincham there ... hence no car-charger and routefinder isn't much use on the tram.

ye exactly have already sent a couple of e mails saying how bad i feel about what happend that i really wanted to be there and didnt intend any of it to happen which is evident , but i felt i better let it become known that i really made a genuine mistake and dont want to get a bad reputation , i really want to make up for this , hope she gives me another chance although im sure if her to consider begging would seriosuly have to be involved
