to everyone who is reporting offending ads and pictures. It's been great the last few days with LOADS and LOADS of stuff getting zapped.

BTW - when an ad is reported for hidden email or telephone number we send a finger-wagging email to them, the system then removes the offending ad so it's no longer there. HOW GREAT is that???

found loads asking for people to send them replies with hidden email's in them didnt know if that was against apu or not?? dunno

Yep - it's encouraging others to break the rules about posting email addresses. So zoom them across to us please. Anything dodgy or anything you think COULD be dodgy, just report and we will have a look. Better safe than sorry.
Also there are loads of commercial sexual activity folk out there trying to take advantage of SH members so watch for them too. Professional porn pictures are the most obvious way of spotting them.

We have been mods for a picture rating site and we have to look out for all sorts... we do have an online handbook on the site but not allowed to share that as its copyrighted i would think...
Can't say to much as i don't want to give people idea's but here are just a tiny amount of things we have to look out for if there any help at all.
Words that refer to email extensions
Running Man = AOL
Yellow Guy = Email
cowboy call = Email
Hot or Warm Place = Hot Mail
FTJ = Facethejury
LJ = Livejournal
And lots more
So something like my names demoname and i dance at the cowboy club
..... would actually meen ( example email )
Hidden email addresses

Then we have to watch out for words in the adverts like...

we have to watch out for peoples website addresses or emails in pictures.....
It could be written on someones T shirt.. a quick glance it might just look like normal text you would normally get on a T shirt but in fact it could be there email or phone number even!
There is loads of things we have to keep an eye on but if you do it regular you just get an eye for it and pick up on it straight away biggrin

so if i had an ad, and couldnt be arsed to delete it, all ihave to do is insert my local kebab emporiums telephone number, and its done for me?

well, i assume its my corner, when i joined, one of the admission staff said "sit over there, we will call you when we want you" so it seems to have become my home.....
