I would be mortified if someone posted my name in this thread if I was a lurker or a newbie.
Maybe you are scaring people away rather than encouraging them to post?
Also, a few of the names you have posted are chartroom users and will only ever be chatroom users so you are naming them for nothing

Don't over-react. It's only the naming bit that is likely to scare people off.
Nothing wrong with encouraging new people to post as a general invitation. It may be all that some need to get 'em started.

i just mentioned an opinion that if people choose to only read the forums, thats their choice, its like being at a party and being forced forward into the spotlight when you like being in the shadows.
