as I read through all the posts on here it seems that everyone lives 'somewhere else'
makes me feel real alone down here in essex. how about a 'hands up if you are in or near essex' it would be good to know I have some company especially from the ladies and couples.

Fortunately the border guards that patrol the Herts Essex boundaries, do regular stop searches and remove any white socks that are being smuggled into the county, along with any Burberry and large hoop ear rings. I fell victim to them last summer when I visited Harlow and purchased some white socks to wear with my sandals to prevent chaffing. They were confiscated and put into a skip alongside a Ford Escort with an exhaust the size of a dustbin, 4 dozen baseball caps, 3 sets of pink velour track suits and a dog called Tyson that was wearing a 6 inch thick studded collar, .

That reminds me. Every time I've ever visited Bristol it has pissed down there.
Bristol, of course, isn't in Essex. It's about as interesting as Essex though, only with a lot less burberry.
