A little non important announcement from moi

"fabio" and "grooverider" have finally gone their separate ways....
In a long meeting (i say long... more like a pub lunch) held at a dog and duck pub, newcastle... it was decided that "fabs" would get to keep the name, the crappy reputation for being a shite wooer of women and the afro.... while "groove" gets bob the goldfish, the back editions of the radio times, and the phil collins and dire straits CD's....
I had a long run with the name... 2 and a half years....and felt it was time for a change,on a lighter note the badge makers for the munches will be overjoyed

Great name :-)
My name comes from years back when Danny Baker & Danny Kelly did a whole show calling themselves fabio & grooverider as they were taking the pee out of the DJ's when they first appeared on Radio 1. AND also they had a phone in for foreign footballers with odd names, I realy liked Rick Plum who I believe plays / played in the dutch league. I'm known on 'another' forum (non swing) as fabio an actually have the hollywood hunk as my avatar..... redface
