I'm waiting for a taxi to take me to the airport where I will fight my way onto a cheap flight to Berlin, whence I will hope to get a taxi at going on 11pm, and eventually make my way to the hotel by about midnight.

a light dinner cooked in my new kitchen, on my new cooker, taken outside to the pergoda to the company of some select friends, good wine, chimnea lit and warming home made bread rolls and candle lanterns burning slowly, bloody good conversation over yet more wine, taking in the scent of the garden flowers (white jasmine, roses and night scented stock) and enjoying the intimate closeness and summer air until late .
