A plea to single males

Hi
There seems to be a growing trend in problems with single guys on this site and soon it could be that single men are BANNED or at the least VETTED. As a newly single guy it would be a pain in the ass if these problems caused me to lose access to an excellant site!
The main problems seem to be:
1/
PMing couples or single women (or single men for that matter) who explictly state NO SINGLE MALES. What are you expecting, they put it down in capitals by accident? :doh:
2/
Getting names wrong? This takes the biscuit. Are you sending out so many PMs that you get confused or is it you can't be arsed to take any care over your replies? Either way it suggests to other people something about your nature. Cut and paste replies are the ultimate insult, you might as well send one email and address it to your list of Potencial Shags. banghead

3/
No shows. I'm sure if you said up front you just wanted to exchange PMs or emails then you'd find a few people that just wanted that also. No need to put people through the agony of wondering why you didn't show up. If you do show up and choose to lurk and then think I'm not really up for this, have the decency to go over buy the people a drink and say SORRY! confused

The shite standard of posts in the Lets Meet Up forum. Maybe they are getting PM replies, but as it looks on the forum the success rate is dire. Having to wade through endless "Up for it", "I'll shag anyone", "I'm huge, let me prove it" or "I'm the only pussy eater in the UK" is a real chore. Its the sheer volume of the bloody things! mad

Posting as a single guy in the Women seeking Men catagory, which frankly is most annoying for other single men! If you can't get this right I expect you are going to have very few replies, though it could be a clear marketing trick. wink

Please, please, please think about what your doing. Single men are getting a reputation worse than junk mai, in fact I was surprised we weren't on that Brassed off Britain program. biggrin

I totally agree.....I have no problems with Single Males as they are, but it's when they do stupid things like you have suggested......in future, think!!!
Although, the ones that simply post "I'm up for a shag" probably won't read in here anyway so maybe we're wasting our time.....still, it needs to be said.

In seriousness, I think the only problem with single males is volume. I've personally had 1, 2 and 3 done to me by people who weren't single males, and seen 4 & 5 done by people who weren't single males. Rudeness and stupidity unfortunately cross the divides of gender, sexuality and marital state sad

I think theres nothing wrong with single men per se, there probably are several genuine ones here, it's just the ones who dont understand what this site is about! (ie people who dont just want a quick shag, but are serious about swapping etc). And these ones who say "i'm the best shag ever" probably have something to prove. ie some girl told them they were crap in bed and theyre looking for a lesson. Well, its cheaper than a prostitute isnt it??

I have met some people here usually at a munch and only have been to two, I like couples a lot but having gone to a few clubs then built up a relationship being told not to get too close to them and then finding the lady whispering to me when her husband leaves the room. I don't think its fair to say its single men misbehaving but then what do I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the main problem, as highlight by dazandlou (wheres that pic gone?) is that alot of people do not understand the concept of this site, Perhaps this was caused by the Stan Collymore media coverage and some people have got the wrong end of the stick.
This is highlighted by the numerous postings in the Lets meet up and Dogging sections of the forum, where people post things such as 'fancy a f**k in Leicester' ' 14" cock needs sucking' etc etc.
Unfortunately in this world there are a small minority of people who insist on spoiling everything for the majority of people who just want to live there lives in peace and have some fun.
Hopefully this is a wake up call to these people, as in life nobody owes you anything, the same thing applies on this site, you are not guaranteed a free shag, if you want that go down to your local meat market nightclub.

What baffles me is that, in spite of pages and pages of these posts in the "Let's meet up" section with a big zero in the replies column, for posts like "I'm free for an hour on Tuesday afternoon, wanna shag?", others still post more!
What I also notice is the number of people claiming to be bored, imagining that it might make them attractive! I remember reading somewhere years ago that the person who says "I'm bored" is really saying "I'm boring" - and I'm convinced that's accurate. Anyone in an ad who states that they are bored is a real turn-off for me!

I'd just like to turm this one around, as the other roger stated couples and single females can be as bad, sometimes even worse.
We have met with a number of single men, so far only one has become a regular thing but the others have so far all turned up and been genuine (And we have all had some good fun). However finding a genuine couple who are up for some fun is a damn sight more difficult, we have been cancelled on, strung along and generally pissed about on a number of occasions. We were even cancelled on by a club where we and the other people were trying to pay them money FFS!!
Be aware single men are not the only ones with bad manners.

I know what you mean about single guys in the chatroom. i'm a single male myself, and even though i chat in the room, making it clear i'm male, (skirt chasing is a big clue!!) i still get PM'ed, by straight men. Are they taking a chance on me being female, and "pretending to be male". You know, to get more action?? lol
But i do understand why couples may "bottle it". It is a major thing for a couple to engage in. Worries that their relationship may suffer are paramount.

The thing I really hate about the chatroom (aside from the fact it's 99% single guys complaining about their unemployed erections - fellas get off your backsides, go down your video store and rent some porn if you're that horny, 'cause that's the easiest emotional need in the world to fulfill) is when a couple or single woman go there and advertise their availability, the fellas swarm around them like flies around a dead cow. Or like a feeding frenzy in the sharktank. I really do find it quite disturbing to witness. sad
