Apologies chaps... you may wish to not read this....
sorry if in wrong place....
my little sis has just found out she is preggy again.... 13 years after her last baby!! biggrin

she is having a freaky few thoughts... she had nipples peirced a few years ago - but didnt keep them in ... and is stressing that she wont be able to feed baby herself...
i have mine done - but was after i had my babies...

Probably best to check with the midwife at the ante natal clinic (do they still do them?) but I'd guess it won't be an issue.
(Although I do have a vision of her lactating in two directions at once! :shock: :lol2: )

My hubby's cousin had her nipples pierced and took the jewellery out to breastfeed without problems as far as I can tell. I confess I did not ask how many streams of milk she produced lol

Back on the farm when I was young we had a few cows who managed to cut themselves around the teet. one was even stitch. They still gave milk in all quarters.

My minx says there should be no problems breast feeding post piercing and she has extensive experience. She also said the acrylic retainers are a good idea if you dont want the piercings to close up.
"obviously it helps if you take them out"
