I was wanting to know do any of the women in here actually check out the single guy adds? From what I am being told a lot of you have maybe 100 replys to whatever add you might post on here so why would you need to bother checking out adds of single guys? lol 8)
Rob
Nah, I never bother with them, not my thing wink
A general point while I'm thinking about this - does anyone else find the use of the term "ladies" to be very annoying. I know I do. My title is not "Lady", I'm not that posh, so it is incorrect as well as damn annoying evil mad
Which then raises the obvious question of what would you prefer to be called?
Not that you have to be called anything really but at least Ladies is polite.
For polite read patronising mad .
You're spot on however, why do females have to be called anything "polite" at all - what's wrong with using gender neutral language, or if a gender is specified, there are plenty of less patronising and less inaccurate terms than "lady" in the English language to chose from - get those dictionaries out

I can speak for Kit on this one, no she doesn't.
However, don't forget the ads section is a discreet entity which runs alongside the forum.
There are currently 2350 registered members, but around 11,000 photo ads. (I havn't counted, the numbers are on the main page) Many of those advertising are not on the forum, and many of those responding are not members of the forum. There may be dozens of successful contacts made everyday that never even touch the forums. Mark could probably tell you just how many unique hits there are on the ads forum every day, I imagine it is in the thousands. And I would guess that most of the hits on the "men seeking women" adverts are women, just not women who are members of the forum.
So there may be thousands of women desperate for sex who have looked at your advert, and just decided not to call. (sorry, couldn't resist that one) smile

P.S. RWAA (how is that pronounced?) How would you feel if you were only ever referred to as a gentleman, never a MAN. However, I do tend to use the word "ladies" in topic titles, and women, when I am talking generally or girls when being flippant. Probably explains why the last time I put "ladies" in the title of a topic, I didn't get a single reply! I never thought of it that way!
Kat,
Yea thanks for that one I guess i'll keep waiting like everyone else!! rolleyes And Blue sorry wont call you a lady nomore have to think up some names to call you(I can think of a few lol )I guess I need a sex change that way i'll be laughing  8)

Flirt
We're all individuals. I can see where Jags and Blue are coming from... but I don't mind being called a lady. Used in the right tone it can be quite sexy... and it beats a lot of things guys can call women.
I've been known to respond to the odd ad now and again - when I'm after something extra naughty perhaps  But on the whole, I get enough interesting guys contact me via the forum. biggrin
Hxx
I think it's me that needs the sex change, not you, Flirt wink
