8/10 for the tapenade and basil - needs a good fruity white wine I think.
Those cheap sausages that get all stickey round the edges when you fry them (no grilling!!) split and mounded with really slow fried onions, also to the point of sticky. A tiny sprinkle of salt and lots of fresh black pepper.
In edit - served HOT.
And a mug of tea.

OMG! :shock: That's just fired up my tastebuds and taken me right back to my childhood! Only difference was that my dripping sarnies used to have salt. And we always had dripping on toast for Sunday tea. Why don't we get dripping nowadays? :cry:
