We should all be respectful and not allow things to become personal.
Having said that it is difficult if someone whom you can't respect because of how they behave, keeps bludgeoning their way into decent threads with inane drivel.
In that case tolerance is, I guess, the solution. But then that can allow someone to spoil it for a lot of others.
We should never hide behind the safety of the detachment of the internet as that is the road to impersonal oblivion.
