Warming the Bed
Anyone ever looked at an ad in their locality (or from somewhere they have previously lived) and thought "I recognise that wallpaper"?
Just curious

So have I. Quite a flattering pic of the old chap, even if I do say so myself. I also saw the woman who taught me most of the things I know about sex in an ad a while ago. I met her in the chatrooms on AOL.

Can I have the ad number?

So I'll be expecting you to email them then
No, but conversely I did once have a bedroom with some fairly unpleasant anaglypta wallpaper* which contained a swirly bit which looked just like a guy sucking himself off.
Initially I took it as a good omen, but alas it was a false dawn.

*In my defense it was a student house. Interior design is not your priority when you are living of 20p packets of chinese noodles.

well with such high spec student housing as to actually have wallpaper, it's no wonder you could only afford pot noodles. luxury!

showing your age, they're 7p now biggrin rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
oh it's sad that I know that, especially now I'm a grownup and can afford real food. they're just so damn easy to cook though, and tasty to boot!
7p!
Good grief, what brand are you buying!?
The ones I used to get were 20p each or 6 for a £1. I thought that was a deal, but it seems I was actually getting royally stitched up. Bastards.
I used to like the mushroom flavour, and also had a penchant for crab (which was much tastier than it might sound). Paying 7p per packet I can only assume you are restricted to such unpleasant flavours as 'carpet', 'earwax' and 'arse'.
Let's not also forget that one packet of noodles supplys one of your five recommended daily portions of monosodium glutamate. Or is that fruit? I forget.
Cheers

Ummmm ... some people here might consider that priviledge rolleyes
Sorry, I only eat the the posh ones* - chow mein being my favourite.
*noodles!!!
I get them in bulk from the Asian supermarket - soak, rinse n drain them and wok them up with some sesame seed oil and oyster sauce n whatever's handy - yum!
blast

One wallpaper spotter, a few people declaring their bits are famous and the a hijack about the price of noodles... no bad for the first post in ages.
I think you can pay as much as 34p for a packet of noodles (not those supanoodles), but they taste just as crap as the cheap and cheerfull variety - probably best to make your own flavouring anyway. At least you could prepare them in a kettle when your cooker wasn't working due to the damp having rotted the wiring - happy days confused

Definitely biggrin

Or just leave them with boiling water on for a few mins. Bit harder to make fried ones with no cooker but if you add imaginative flavourings they'll not taste crap (skipping the garlic if you're going out 'sociably')
Happy eating
x Chris
(vaguely daydreaming about erotic possibilities of big yummy tasty ones and oyster sauce)
