YIKES! I'm feeling your pain, brother. Shit, I'd lend you my car but I don't have one.
again, I agree, it's just a car, but it's more the point that someone has damaged it and driven off, no thought of what it means to the owner or the problems he has caused, not even to mention the financial implications for me now.......
But you are right, it is just car
Colts;
I know exactly how you feel. I took my pride and joy out of the garage at the weekend, parked outside the garage and went back to close the door. Old boy in next garage then reversed out of his garage, swung round without looking and drove straight into my car!!
Luckily there was a witness but I too have the additional problem of language, foreign insurance companies etc. to get through.
My car has had to be trailered away to a specialist garage and am not certain when the work will be completed or when I will get it on the road again.
Best of luck!!

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Colts23. We had our car scratched by our neighbours
daughter, all she had to say is, that it is part of the growing up process of children.
i'd be out looking for a car with similar damage to yours, it sounds like its pulped..... there has to be another one in a similar state to yours....
i know how you feel, i had a boy racer T-bone me causing over £2500 worth of damage.... it hurt like a bitch (few cuts and bruises nothing major)
colts fear for you man
come back to the safe roads of southern england mate
it is hurtfull when something youve worked hard to achieve is destroyed or damaged. I know its not a person who was physically hurt , but emotional pain and disapointment in society is harmfull aswel, things like this cause bad feelings and i feel you have a right to be uspet.
this person obviousely has no consideration for anything, and i know a human was not injured but one could easily have been or may have been before or after this incident if they were driving so eratic to cause this damage.
if we dont value our own posessions what hope have we of respecting the place we live in.
i do put human life above that of material goods , but this was a pretty low excuse of a human to act in the manner that caused this damage.
hope your feeling more positive in people after youve recieved support from here.

Colts......
Sorry to hear about yr car.... ask the garage to see if there are any flecks of the other vehicles paint left on your car at all..... any clues whatsoever as to what hit yrs...
The chances are.... it was either a driver who has no insurance.... or someone who knows that failing to stop and failing to report an accident both carry points for their licence...
The car can be repaired.... yes... you will be the financial loser.... but don't stop looking out for any car that may have hit yours....
and remember..... it could have been worse..... they could have torched it, stolen it or damaged it beyond repair......
equi-princess xxx
if it was my car..... i'd have the boys with the concrete boots looking for them.... lol

Do we have a date and time for this revolution? Only I'm a bit busy at work at the moment.
I would quite like to be involved!
What a revolution that promotes the proletariat that treasures property - give us a break - that's the status quo and long may it be so!
