Shall I send a knitting needle via 1st class post to you as well, or hasn't the itching started yet?

Frequently Plastered.
Does that count? wink
Damn plasterers have plastered all my tools, dirty sods, does that count?
Know just how you feel, I was in plaster for 6 weeks in October when I broke my foot - not a happy bunny!
Worst part was being in plaster trying to get round on my birthday, definitely put a dampener on things!
Amazing too how much you take for granted, even having a bath and being able to relax!!!
As for tips to deal with the itching n stuff (and yes, it will itch!), wherever your plaster is, get your hairdryer and blow cool air down it, it helps to stop the itching.
You have my sincerest sympathies........
In Plaster and Wheelchair for 16 Weeks when both my feet got crushed in accident, then months of not being able to do anything and Actually losing my balance as I'd not been on my feet for 5 months when I first walked again.
We can laugh about it now!!!
You have my sympathy
wink

Wouldn't have happened if you crack protection squad had been in place boss confused
We'll take extra special care of your piggie wiggies!
16 weeks in full cast, 10 weeks in half cast, double fracture to tib and fib.
it will itch like hell, when they cut the cast off it will stink, the skin under the cast will be dry and flakly.
and did I mention it will itch lol
I'm right handed and I broke my right arm in two places and wore a cast up to my shoulder for seven weeks one long hot summer. evil What was also painful was the fact that I moved in bed one night and managed to smack myself in the face with my cast which resulted in a rather nasty nose-bleed. I also rubbed a hole into my plaster as I refused to stop playing the guitar. lol
Then I broke the same arm again - another up to the shoulder cast for 6 weeks! banghead I was on tour in France playing the drums, was being the operative word!
THEN… I fractured my kneecap and had to wear a weird metal/Velcro contraption that went from my ankle to my groin that was designed to keep my kneecap from moving.
Yes its annoying, frustrating, itchy, awkward etc etc but it's remarkable how quickly you adapt.

Sorry, but visions of you looking like "Animal" from the muppets with a plastercast on just made me chuckle! :giggle:
