Morning all - Does anyone have any clue as to why I cant see the ads any more? The rest of the site works fine and the ads were working until very recently, but now i just get a page not found error. Help please!

yes and in the cafe you get to have a few giggles intead of getting fixated on those ad pics and searching for naughty ones... (we have all been there im sure) ..infact... i wonder if there is any new ads.. :lol:

cheers for the advice mate, tried those settings, and no different - I can access all other areas of the site, and any other web page I pluck out of the ether (Including 'Adult' ones which I clicked on by accident ;) )
I am using those stiings now........
We have had major connection problems since March, which NTHell were well aware of, and umpteen engineer visits, all saying the cable from our house to the roadside box was degraded and need changing, but of course NTHell chose not to change it.
After many months of argueing, we actually had our cable changed, and have now got full speed broadband! This is why we notice problems now, 'cos everything else works ;)
We have actually been unable to acces *just* the ads for some time, getting the page loaded once in a blue moon. Since about two weeks ago however, we cannot load the ads at all, with 'cannot find server' errors. I have also tried win98se with no luck, so its not XP SP2 either - and I bypassed my router, plugging directly into the cable modem with no luck either.
Two or three (Maybe more) people a night in the chatroom state they cannot load the ads or that the photo jump does not work.
I thought it was NTHell too at first, and checked the IP addy for some of those saying they cannot load ads - Blueyonder, BT and AOL in the main, so not just NTHell. Its not even regional - or at least does not appear to be.
Gaaaaa! - Damn! - no perving - I mean reading ads for me then
