I understood that this site is totally free and when replies are made to ads that this applies accordingly. However, I replied to an ad from a lady via this site and received a reply from her but the only way to contact her is via another site where payment to join is required. Has anyone else come across this?

We deal with EVERY twat around - PLEASE report these ads to us, use the 'report this ad' link on the bottom left hand side of each ad. If you'd had such a reply then please FORWARD it to us so we can see. AND keep a record of the ad number or the address you sent it to, the reply address won't be the same.
We need either the ad number or the email address to do anything good about it.
It has to be Help a Mod week??? :cry:

Yes its happend to me a few times Im quite new here and enjoy the site a lot. I feel that when i get a reply and asking me to conact them .....I think its my lucky....But then i find out its anthoer web site and i have to pay to conatct them I start to wonder.
Also hope im wrong but its crossed my mind a few times that may be prosiutes try and pick up guys here .... I realy hope im wrong because there are a lot of genuine people that use this great place

Nope - you're correct - almost. They just want you to join their sites - which are usually a pile of poo. Do not pay and do report. We don't want them on this site and all fight a constant battle against the rising tide of sewage from them.

If the ad is no longer there, it has already been removed, OR they ahve removed it themselves to avoid tracing.

There are several of us with the name "moderator" on our profile..... The rest is easy to work out if you care to apply a brain cell or two to the process..... send any one of us the email address of this scamming scum and we'll sort it. Next time you come across one of these ads, report it using the "report this ad" facility on the photo ads.
