Advice for a newb

I’m playing on my own and would like to try a club.

Issue is I’m a ‘tad’ body concious. I’m curvy in all senses of the word and wondered if I’d ‘fit in’ and where would you recommend as a first timer?

As someone who used to visit Chameleons in Darlaston, near Walsall a lot, I can highly recommend it. All ages, shapes and sizes attend and I've never seen anyone have any issues because of the way they looked. The staff and the punters are great. Thursday evenings used to be good for first time visitors, as there was a decent amount of people without it being too busy. You can do as much or as little as you choose. Nobody will judge you. 

There's no need to be concerned about fitting in. You get all sorts of people at clubs. All shapes, sizes, ages, and interests.

The one I go to (ClubF) has a Curvy Girls night once a month, specifically for women who are less confident about their bodies. If you're very nervous, a night like that at a club near you might suit. But you can have as good a time any night. It's just a matter of finding the courage to walk through the front door the first time.

I don't know the clubs near you, unfortunately, so I don't have a recommendation. They're all different. Read a few reviews and see if one stands out for you.

It is just getting over those first nerves (remember them well lol).

Most people are body conscious, and especially going into a place like a swinging club. But as said people of all shapes and sizes go and found that no one judges.

Look up reviews and chose one that you like that is not dress down for first time. Many also do newbie nights where you will meet others in the same boat.

If you're nervous about going to a club then maybe get yourself to a social first.  That way you can meet other swingers in a non-pressure "vanilla" environment, and see for yourself how many body shapes and sizes make up the scene.
