Hi everyone,
Just wondering if someone could give us some advice really. My boyfriend is a little scared of this whole swinging thing and I was thinking that maybe we could go to a club first and ease him into it. We are based in London so could anyone reccommend some good places to go? Somewhere a bit up market perhaps?
Thanks!

Hi!
We're london-ish and are still very very very new to this game too! We were wondering the same thing about a year ago. We were of the mind to meet a couple and see what happened. In the end we met a nice couple who "convinced us" to go to a club (chameleons) which we were really scared about, but in honesty, it was by far the best thing for us. We've been again (by ourselves) and had lots of fun too - and so far, we've not played with anyone else - but had excellent fun watching and being watched - even though it was scary the first time!
Once you realise no one is staring or really cares - you relax!
We're off to that neck of the woods for Utopia on 25th Sept....
Both places are birmingham/shropshire way and are amongst the top (safe/clean) places to go (from what we've read!).
So we tend to make a weekend of it and get a B&B and chill out as we quite like shropshire anyway.... One day the friends may wonder why! ;)
We haven't seen the couple who took us there again (obviously didn't click) - and because they could/did play with others at the club then there was no pressure and everyone had fun anyway. If it was the 4 of us round someones house then it may have been more forced etc and may have put us off.
We've decided that we'll only use clubs unless we make good friends with someone in that environment etc.
If you want to ask more questions or chat more then email us - happy to talk and we're deffo not scary!!

PS - only tried couples-only nights which removes some potential stress and is more suitable to us.
Just my 2p's worth- have you considered going to a munch? It's a great way to meet new people in a relaxed environment. Only other advice is to take things slowly and talk LOTS.
I got Mrs RSAB2 on board this way and now she's hooked!

Dont be scared we wont bite unless you want us to wink
I think youve had some great advice already so ill leave that to those who make sense lol
welcome to the madhouse and i hope you are having a good time here so far...
if you want my 2p's worth, the munch is a good place to start where there is no pressure at all and there are always friendly people to chat to
other than that a club is not always the best place to start for someone who is nervous, i would suggest maybe meeting one couple to begin with and ease your way in.....

Hi guys,
Like you we are a newish couple to all this, but it is getting to be real
We went to the Toucan club this month, and it was fab. Lots of action, lots of couples, but NO pressure. We played together for mostight and then branched out a little to sample some other people, just to try it, and really it was very enjoyable. I think we both felt very comfortable and ad a great night.
The people on the board have been very friendly, and helpful, although at times they do seem to live in a world of their own rolleyes
Our advice would be, take it at your pace, ask any question you have on here, enjoy yourselfs, and always consider each other.
