Age Difference!

cant believe how many replies i get from people saying im too young! really cant believe it! i thought this was for anyone, regardless of age, size etc. i come on the forum and have a debate about age difference not being a problem and then guess what.... its IS a problem!

Well, I suppose it is down to personal preferences... i think the forum itself does not make any stipulations about what age you need to be but on an individual basis, some people might find that you are too young.
You seem to come across as quite mature in your ad, you can spell and you can string more than three words together with some legible use of punctuations... all positive stuff...

It's disappointing getting replies from people who aren't interested. But did you check their age requirements beforehand? It's also annoying getting hundreds of replies from people who really don't fit the requirements you set out. Even if they didn't specify an age range, I can understand why some people wouldn't consider meeting someone a lot younger or older than them. Everyone looks for certain things in the people they meet, and for some people age is one of those things.
I'm young as well (21), and I generally assume that's going to put some people off wanting to meet me. Just think about it, some of the people you're replying to might have kids who aren't much younger than you, and maybe they don't want to be sexually involved with someone that young? Maybe they think experience comes with age and they can't be bothered showing a young guy the ropes? Maybe they think they'll click more easily, or have better conversation with, someone closer to their own age?
I don't think being young is ever going to mean that people won't accept that you're a swinger, or allow you to join in on the forums, or stop you from coming to munches. But if they won't have sex with you, whether it's because of your age or any other reason, that's their decision!
Swinging is, of course, for anyone regardless of sex, age, size etc. But that doesn't mean everyone is willing to sleep with everyone else! Just that there's something for everyone out there. I wish you much luck in finding yours. smile

Well personally
i can't imagine anyone in their early twenties wanting to be sexual with me (i'm 32) purely because I assume (either rightly or wrongly) that they naturally would prefer someone without national geographic tits biggrin

but thats the thing, it is meant to be for everyone, whatever your tits are like (and im sure they are fine)! just cant understand reading an ad, including what age they are after if they supply one, and then saying 'if you were older'. and then when i come on the forum and find people on about how it doesn't matter. maybe its just me or just me being paranoid anyway!

I've seen quite a few older guys escorting much younger women in,'Liberation', (or should that be the other way round)?Perhaps this is quite common in other clubs too.
This is of course their business, and should be respected as such.
As i am a,'forty something' i prefer someone who can at least remember the,'Smash' advert !

This sort of thing, or something similar, seems sometimes to be a feature of the "Let's Meet Up" section as well. Someone posts at fairly short notice about wanting to hold a small gathering, and lo and behold, 17 out of the next 20 posts responding are "if onlys": people saying if only it was Wednesday/Tuesday/earlier in the day/later in the day/ next week/ last week/different age range etc. etc. Perhaps it's sometimes a bit of bravado on the writer's part, that they feel safe making all sorts of comments when theycan't make it, but where they would actually feel terrified if all the criteria fitted!

can i say something.....
maybe it id just me but having a ad and being on the forum i consider to be 2 different things..
in the forum i don't think age does matter as what we are doing is chating and learning about people... where as with ad an i think people are going to be a lot more specific about what they are after...
i know as a black guy i am not going to appeal to everyone, i know as a larger guy i am not going to appeal to everyone, i know that i am younger than a lot of people on the site and that is not going to appeal to everyone....those are things outside of my control and such is life, there is no point in complaining about these things as everyone (and i suspect even you) have their prefrences... of course i would like it if people got to know me first then make a decision, but you can't always do that.... which brings me to point number2...
it is a point i have made in various other posts....i went to find your ad and i am not picking on yours in particular....
in the last 30 days....number of ads of men seeking women : 7087
in the last 30 days....number of ads of women seeking men: 168
so just off those figures there 42 times more men than women looking.....so i can understand that if you are not going to be 110% sure of a person then you may not get a reply, and i can imagine the amount of replies that they would get (i spoke to one lady who put up an ad.. and she got 400 replies in one week)
it all comes down to your approach i suppose.. i use my ad to compliment what i do in the forums and the chatrooms... if you want to use your ad on its own merits then that is up to you...
i wish you luck and you certainly get out of SH what you put into it...

'Getting done' is a childish phrase anyway. If you answer adverts for which you fit the criteria (including age) then they say you're too young, I would say that you're best leaving well alone. Either they're too soft and don't want to say 'no thanks' or they're not exactly sure what they want anyway (or even possibly just timewasters).
Complaining about it on here won't really get you anywhere because they may not even use the forum and realise that it pisses people off.

Whether they consent or not isn't the issue, it's the fact that he's been turned down by someone who gave an age range and he fitted their criteria, but then they moved the goalposts.
Age does matter for some people, to an extent. For example, we wouldn't play with anyone who we could be the parents of. Our choice, even if they are old enough to be considered adult and they consent.

Maia - I'm intrigued by this description...
are you implying that they are large enough to be featured in National Geographic as natural features of the landscape? Do they have contour lines? wink
