Age Gap Couples (Older M Younger F)

hi all
this is a first post :scared: from a newbie so if i get it wrong please be gentle with me,
we have been looking for a couple for some time to either join us or for us to join to have some soft swinging fun, problem is as soon as the other couple find out were not just an ordinary run of the mill couple all goes quiet, (im 39 and my partner is 19) so we thought we would give it a go on the forum to see if there were any similar couples out there who would maybe like to meet up socially and see were it goes from there, we are from ellesmere port area , and can travel / accomodate, we prefare to meet up socially first as were fairly new to the swinging scene and feel more at ease this way wink

Hello and welcome to SH.
I am in a swinging relationship (dino). We have been swinging for two years now. Dino is 43 and i am 28, and i must say we have never come across a problem with other couples having issues about our age difference. But in the early stages of our relationship ( when i was 21) we received nothing but negative remarks. We totally ignored these comments etc, and 8 years on we are enjoying an open swinging lifestyle, i think that says it all really.
Stick with it, ignore negative comments and we hope you find what you are both looking for. :wink:

we have found it depends on the situation we have had pple upset at our age gap wen we first started she was 18 whilst i was 30 and 3 yrs on we still get it along with the well ur not married / living together ext ext ext we often find it a gr8 tradgady were in a alternative lifestyle where were judged by our peers in this lifestyle just like they themselves are judged by other pple from the outside of this comunity but they dont seem to realise that whilst we / u / whoever isnt what they are looking for or fit in with there particular needs wants we / u should be supposrted by this comunity because if we dont support eachother who no have we got then ???? as for us " tolerent " or should we say "appreciative ?" of anyones wishes and individuality be they male female or owt inbetween oh yer and that dam green alien from marz too

its nice to no that there are poeple out there with possitive opinions, we have been together for nearly 2 yrs and lookforward every day to the next, maybe theres a need for all us "age gappers" to get together and form a self help group of our own lol

lol.
i suppose at first sight it seemed that we were the only "strange" couple here but it seems that to define strange becomes very difficult, as were only strange to the people who dont no us or dont approve, every individual is entitled to there own views and choice of lifestyle, live and let live,

Hi Challo, dont worry about what people may or may not think about the age gap, age is just a number and as long as it works for you two then that is all that matters.
Mr NWC is 13 years older than me (or so our birth certificates say). We met when I was 16 and have been together over 20 years, married for 16 of them. Has age ever been a problem? Well it was at first as friends/relatives etc thought I was too young to know what I was doing and he was only after one thing!!!! Its been so nice to prove them wrong and every day we are together is just that little bit better than the last.
As for people accepting us, well we have never had a problem with our ages. Its more about how mature, sensible and friendly the other people are, rather than what it says on our/their birth certificates. I know lots of people at 19 who are very mature and lots in their 30's, 40's and 50's who are complete idiots!
Dont give up, and certainly dont think that everyone will notice the age difference. Infact a lot of people wont even realise it! Good luck and welcome to the Mad House lol

I have realised and become very open minded regarding all other peoples desires, preferences, situations and experiences within this community. And im so pleased to have met and gained so much tolerance and understanding about sexual needs regarding my swinging lifestyle.
If we as a swinging community can not be tolerant of one another, then who would be dunno

You are right in everything you have said HornyRed, could not have said it better myself. I have met both yourselves and Firehot at social meets and to be honest, would never have realised there was an age difference in either of the couples!
The only thing I would add is I dont think it is so much about tolerating each other, but more around welcoming each other! Its the differences which make this lifestyle all the more appealing and welcoming!

hi both of you , we are a couple who have experianced a bit of negativity about our ages iam 49 while julie is 36 but it has never been an issue as far as we are concerned weve been together 3yrs and we get on like a house on fire we would say sod what anyone else thinks if your happy together and it works for you then go for it lol

You made dino a very happy man. He is fifteen years older than me, which i think has benefited me in many ways, he has taught me to be non-judgemental, open minded, extremely imaginative, and also how to be myself, regardless of other peoples opinions, oh and how to be a great swinger :swingingchair: He is my great teacher :jagsatwork: lol

I was i a "relationship" the other way round for a few years. My partner was 17 years older than me. We had no end of comments & sarcastic remarks to put up with.

Hi all
we realy didnt expect so many positive replies, we've talked about the differance in peoples reations before and its sometimes amusing seeing the diffrence, for instance if were out walking in town the strange looks we get are so funny to us, yes when were both dressed up going clubbing the looks turn into smiles winks, and whistles, ( dont think there whistling at me sad

) the age doesnt matter to us were happy our familys are happy for us and so are our friends, what prompted me to post was the lack of responces once people found out our ages, but this could have been answered as i suppose it could be diffecult if couples had daughters of a simalar age, , i think that we have both also realised that there is more to SH than placing adds for other couples i've / we have never looked beyond the front pages of the site and i've been around here for about 18mths. The past few days after joining the forum have opened our eyes to the COMMUNITY thats inside the site, thanks to every one for making us welcome, posting positive replies, and showing that age doesnt matter,
To any one who would be interested in a club / group for couples with A G partners if there is interest lets see what we could do to arrange something ( although i dont think it would be right to exclude non A G couples) any one interested please feel free to PM me

my first relationship was age gap i was 16 and she was 26 (only 10 years but seamed more at the time) we had a great time for the 2 years we were together we only parted ways because she emigrated to oz and at the time i decied not to go with her i have to say its the biggest regret of my life

Mr Tigs is 9 years younger than me and we have had no problems with the age gap thing.
You will find people on Swinging Heaven take you for who you are and not for how old you are. Just keep perservering and get yourself known as you are already doing.

we sometimes get people that dont want to meet because of our age gap, (18f, 47m). It doesnt bother us anymore, its not our loss lol...you only live once wink
