Ok I have a problem with mine sad I have ignored it for too long and despite my humour I am actually in a lot of pain :(
They hurt :( and I swear to god they are growing  I hardly need bigger boobs anyway but they hurt so much I can barely stand to be touched and sleeping on them is awful :(
I'm definitely not pregnant but that's how it feels :(
Any ideas? I guess this is for the ladies advice really.

<<<< offers my services of rubbing kissing tits better biggrin
Tell Morbius to stop playing with them. lol
I would offer to rub them better but dont think it would help.
I often get it unfortunately no real advice just keep your bra on and a fitted top might help, or something tight to keep them in place.

no unexplained lumps I would presume
I dont know if you have been doing more exercise than normal of late, but the boobs do like ontop of the pectoral muscles, so if you have worked those harder in some way and not allowed them a chance to relax down again, then yes it is possible that your boobs would feel more tender, plus the extra growth of the pecs would accounts for the apparent growth in your boobs
Did you ever overhear your folks whispering about and evil twin ?

Sounds like it might be mastitis to me... but I'm not at all qualified so check with your GP.

This might help

Hmm quite possibly ... although none of the other symptoms fit .... just the swelling and tenderness.

Unfortunately milk yield has been very little for a good few years ~ must eat the wrong sort of grass .... all those additives!

Yeah I mentioned it to the gynaecologist I saw on Tuesday and he said that the hormone released wasn't in a high enough dose to explain this and to take ibuprofen sad Have been doing so but to little avail :(
I should add that when I say bigger I mean bigger :( .. I've gained at least two cup sizes in 2.5 weeks :(

I have had the same thing, although I only gained a full cup size, after like 3 or 4 months, it kinda just stopped. It used to be agony to take my bra off in the eve because the weight would make them move and my nipples used to really hurt.
Have you thought that if your not having your period - it might be your body going WTF?!?!?! I went on the contraceptive injection, which is supposed to stop your periods, then about 6 months later, this started.
I dont know if its a coincidence, but it might be worth going to your GP, and underlining how important it is to you - and dont let them fob you off! bastards - they always just say take pain killers!
Or maybe just giving NHS direct a ring - they're usually lovely female nurses, who are much more understanding and surportive (in my experience anyway) smile
Sorry cant be more help....

Try some cold cabbage leaves in your bra - sounds odd but could help if it is mastitis, certainly used to work for me when I was breasfeeding the kids

Warming the Bed
Give the cabbage leaves a try I undedrstand savoys are thebest choice the theory is that they contain something that effects the hormone balance in the breast as recommended by some midwifes.
Failing that are you due for a review for HRT or the Pill
Hope you are sorted soon.

You didn't mention whether they are growing in a uniform way, but from reading between the lines (or nipples) I think they are growing at the same rate.
Maybe these help;
Avoiding fried and fatty foods, reducing salt in the diet, cutting out caffeine in coffee, tea and coca-cola and stopping smoking is helpful in relieving breast pain.

Until October 2002, oil of evening primrose was prescribed for moderately severe breast pain. The products obtainable on prescription have now been withdrawn (due to lack of scientific data showing how effective they are) but oil of evening primrose may still be available to purchase from health food outlets. Formerly advice was as follows: Taking evening primrose oil on a daily basis at a dose of between 3 and 4g or as prescribed by the General Practitioner is effective in up to two thirds of women with cyclical breast pain. The drug should be taken for at least 3 months as response to treatment can be slow. The side effects of evening primrose oil are very few but include occasional tummy upset, greasy skin and hair. If evening primrose oil is effective at reducing pain, it should be taken for six months and at the end of this period the drug should be stopped. Half of the patients will have no further pain. In those who develop breast pain again, in half the pain will be much less severe and a further six month course of evening primrose oil may be indicated.

both from .
and this from .
Although a direct relationship might have been expected between the pain and hormone levels, in fact most women with breast pain have normal levels of circulating hormones. It is now accepted that the problem is not one of high hormone levels but of abnormal sensitivity of breast tissue to normal hormone levels. This increase in sensitivity is linked with the pattern of fatty acids in the blood stream. Fatty acids are substances present in all fats and oils that can affect the way the body responds to its own hormones. Women with breast pain have low levels of various fatty acids like gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). These fatty acids are made in the body starting with essential fatty acids that we obtain in our diet. Women with breast pain also have high levels of saturated fatty acids that increase and prolong the effect of hormones on the breast tissue and appear to cause pain.
Low levels of GLA and other fatty acids made from the essential fatty acids are not caused by dietary deficiencies. They are caused by an inefficient conversion process in the body. Dietary supplementation with GLA can overcome this inefficient conversion, raising levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids and simultaneously reducing levels of saturated fatty acids.

Failing that, stay away from me wink, hpoe you are better soon hun :therethere:
