This is going to sound incredibly stupid redface
I've pondered on this one for years lol
Spiders (not that I like talking about them or even thinking about them!) - How do they get from one place to another with their webs?
I mean: I've seen loads of spider threads/webs horizontal (for instance, across a pathway....you get a face full of web)....how do they do it?
Do they leap from one bit to another, trailing their horrible webby stuff?
I know they can get to other places once that first "bit" is spun. I know they can kinda jump downwards and then travel upwards via the web but it's the horizontal thing that gets me.
Gone shivery now, talking about the little sods!
redface redface

They fly.
No honest, they do.
They squirt out a single strand of a thread until it becomes big enough to act as a wing and then they fly.
Spiders are very small amd light so it doesn't take much.
lol lol tell me you are joking! you are aren't you? lol
I know I have seen spiderman. lol
Who said "see that cow/goat/chicken/sheep.. over there  I'm going to pull its tits and drink the contents confused And how his/her mind was working at the time dunno to think such an idea

Yes I too have seen them do that when I am sat out in my back garden on the deck.... there is a whole army of the blumin things here......
My wonder about them is this.....
who the heck teaches them how to make a web? We as humans have to learn everything....
Are spiders really born with this imprinted in their dna?

They don't.
What's the difference between "flammable" and "inflammable"?

Why is big such a small word whereas Infinitesimal is such a big word?
Where does the dark go when you turn the light on ?
A genuine question asked of a friend by his four year old daughter some time ago!
