Oh yeah, this is mine. Debiwebs your welcome on the back o' mine anytime hun. Just promise to cling on real tight.    biggrin

stop it tempting me smackbottom wink
I could ride as a teenager, learnt on a BSA Bantom at 15 & spent a few years both riding different bikes & being a pillion. Then my downfall was marrying a squaddie sad so didnt have anything to do with bikes for a lot of years.
Since I have been divorced, the guys I know with bikes all have big ones wink so havent had the opportunity to try & ride again (none of them will trust me with their "babes " now  but have been pillion on a few, Ninja, fireblade, bandit, R6, Firestorm biggrin
My bf has a Kawasaki Ninja & a chop, we are going to the rock & blues in July & the Bulldog bash in August

Goes without saying, but yes i would love to borrow your airbags!!
The Camberwell Carrot!
BANDIT 12 HERE K2 6000+M PER YEAR NOT BEEN BACK FROM THE TT LONG BUT LOOKING AT TRYING SCARBORO NOT BEEN YET N IT LOOKS GOOD i PREFER WATCHING IT BETWEEN THE HEDGES
My ex had a ZX10 and I adored riding pillion on it ... started a real yearning for me to pass my test. I love the custom bikes (damn Discovery for running American Chopper and Southern Chopper) but I'm only a tiny person and all the bikes I love are just to big for me
My aim is to get my licence before I'm 40 and will probably go for a virago or something similar.

I'm 5'2" and it is difficult with a sports bike, true. I had a Fazer 600 which was way too tall for me... Now, you can get the seat modified to suit, if you can find someone to do it... or
You can buy a cruiser.
Viragos are great, cheap to run and quite nippy. My last one would have knocked spots, speed wise, off my HD.
we have a zzr1100,but now he wants a Busa,ok with me lol biggrin
Well looks like i'll be back on the road again next week. Buying a 25 year old CB900 Honda tourer off a mate for £300 so knowing my luck it'll tip it down with rain for the rest of the year now lol.
So if the rest of the summer's crap blame me rofl
Davie
Don't get me talking about bikes.....you'll never shut me up!!!
I love 'em. Started riding when I was 4 on an NSU Quickly my older brother got.
Since then never been without a bike.
Can't list all the models I've had but some of the finest have been (in no particular order)
Yamaha XS1100, XJR1200
Honda CBR600, Transalp
Suzuki SV650, GSX550
Kawasaki GPZ550, KLR650
Morini 3 and a half Sport (two of the luvverly little buggers)
Guzzi V50 Monza
Laverda Montjuic
Ducati Silverstone 250
Sorry Vix & all you Harley riders but I've never got the Harley thing.
And I can't stand the look of those shitty Jap custom wanna-be Harleys!!! Sorry.
Undoubtably my BEST biking experience was racing at the IoM in '94 & '95 in the Manx GP on a CBR600.
Fucking awesomeis the only way to describe it!!!!!!!!!
I don't care what anyone says about riding fast on the public roads PLEASE take my word for it that it just don't compare to flat out down Bray Hill or trying to get the Verandah right or the buzz of Kirk Michael!!!!!!!!!
EPIC!!!! Fucking epic!!!!
Sorry about the expletives & the "!!!!!" but how else can I exclaim how fucking brilliant racing a bike on the IoM is?!!!!!!!!!

ROFL thats the year my mate mousie went down the mountain on his Fireblade with his kilt on at 145mph ....... kilt was flapping about the back of his helmet bare arse to the wind lol ... and all caught on the Eurosport helicopter camera's rofl.
I've got loads of mates that go down to the IoM TT every year they confirm their B&B bookings for the following year the day they arrive lol.
Davie ( getting seriously happy about getting back on a bike ... only been 5 years and my last bike was a Z650 frame turned into a hardtail chopper , GSXR 750 engine and front end and no silencer on the exhaust .... noisy bugger rofl ).
Get the CB900 next week deposit's been paid only needs a new back tyre and i'm offski lol.
Oooo.. look what I found......my kinda hog
My present bike is a Yamaha 900 Diversion. Bought it new in 1996.
i just love to see a long haired biker mmmmmmmmmm :smitten:
makes me moist just thinking about it redface
sharron
George the 900 Diversion is a good bike but not as reliable as the pre-diversion model as far as I know ( less powerfull too , the pre diversion XJ600 I had had 75bhp the Diversion 600 had 55bhp go figure lol ).
Well my bikes got a good registration .... KBW ( one of my fav aussie comedians KEvin Bloody Wilson rofl ) lololol
Just a few bits to fix up on it ( what do ya expect for a 24+ y/o bike lol ) and its good to go. Tango orange with black detail graphics sounds puke but looks pretty good to me lol ( or is it just 'cause i'm gagging to get out on the road again lol ... gagging for a lot of things but hey ho lol )
Davie lol

We will be there Saturday and Sunday. Camping over just for one night as Kato doesn't like going long without her hair straighteners.!
clouseau and kato, I'm a bit curious as to why you have a french sig, although I'm not sure what the significance is.
( I have an interest in the French language having spent 6 years in francophone africa)
Are there any other francophiles on here?
i.e.
Je me cacherai la - a te regarder danser et sourire,
Et a t'ecouter chanter et puis rire,
Laise moi devenir l'ombre de ton ombre, l'ombre de ta main,
L'ombre de ton chien,
Ne me quitte pas.
I shall hide there - to watch you danse and smile,
To listen to you sing and then laugh,
let me become the shadow of your shadow, the shadow of your hand,
the shadow of your dog,
Don't leave me.

I lived in Belgium for 10 years and as such, I am a francophile. These are lyrics from a song written by Jaques Brel in the fifties. The song moves me but only when sung in french as the translated words do not have the same meaning or depth. I think it epitomises my life.
