Half Life 2 (just in case anyone is sincere when they say they haven't heard of it ) is a rather popular new PC game that sold about 40 copies worlwide before it was even released. Since its release, it's gone on to be the biggest and most widely known thing in existence, past, present and future. It's even bigger and better known that Christianity though, almost certainly, not quite as enduring.
edit: Not to be confused with Halo 2, which is a new and rather popular XBOX game. Nowhere near as popular as HL2 though.
