I've heard that it's beneficial for mothers to eat the placenta raw. Apparently it's a very common practice among other mammals.

Punch was lethal (ask MrFC lol ) but free from all natural products - I can't actually remember what was in the 'chutney' but it was enhanced by body fluids. Wilma will remember -
