The first time or first few time can always feel weird but i reckon after a while if you relax you'll love it,... Plus i reckon you have to be real comfy and at ease when you do it..
if hes a biggun then this all depends on your preference.. and how it feels to you will dictate whether or not its too big.

I find a real cock more comfortable than fingers/toys for some reason.. although still not overly keen myself... one of my gay friends recommended putting a babywipe over your finger and sticking it up your arse beforehand to minimise mess :shock: But I also felt more comfortable using a condom.
