I kind of break rules because I think some are good, but some need to be broken. I often see new faces dropping on to the forum an say hello in a PM, just to show someone knows they are about. Many answer with a Hi, some do not, and I sometimes drop the odd one to you out their, and if I have you know who I have and have not. I think it is weird that you see SO MANY logged on, roaming about looking for the few they chat with, and I like to say hello? If it offends I am sure I will get slapped, but so far it has been ok.
I personally like the odd pm, and a few have started to say HI to me when I come on, it kind of makes you feel, well respected in the talkable sense? SO, I think maybe if you are reading this thread, and think on it, and when you next come on, and the person you look for is not on, just say Hi to a couple of those on at that time even if you dont chat regularly?
GO ON...GIVE SOMEBODY YOUR SMILE....?
i like the thought of that.... it is kind of like passing on a smile or a random act of kindness....
so from a vet of other sites but a relative newbie to this one..... HELLO biggrin

FG for you too :D :D :D
Hi biggrin :D :D :D :D
and a pm every now and again would be nice wink
Most channels/servers I know don't have a problem with pms - infact they are a great way of cutting out a lot of the clutter - but since it causes problems with the java client that most people use here it's not really going to work for #swingingheaven
I think too much has been said about not sending unsolicited PMs. They can be fun, just dont sen me unintelligable ones!!
