i love nature and thought it might be nice for members to nominate an animal of the day giving reasons for its nomination,so here goes,,,,,,i nominate the first ever animal of the day,,,,the salmon !.reasons,,,,after growing in the sea it sets off on a massive journey up river to the dangers of man, bears, eagles, just about everything wants to eat then fights for a shag, shags, then dies,,,all that for a shag, wow!! so lets hear it for the salmon..
Awwwww and I wanted it to be a giraffe, for no apparant reason, you understand.
Here's to the salmon
I vote for the rat cos they're clever, cute, friendly, you can take them places in your pocket or on your shoulder and they get on trains free. They usually get on well with each other and they love to live in a group and have lots of orgies. They are the perfect companion for the busy swinger cos they don't need much looking after and they lead the same sort of lifestyle as busy swingers. They don't look down their noses at you like cats or dogs do when you bring your latest conquest(s) home.
VOTE RAT!!!!
My nomination goes to the rabbit 'cos it's soft, warm and furry, and it's "at it" all the time hump :hump:

then tomorrow the giraffe can be "animal of the day" for no apparant reason other than you would like it to be,which is as good a season as any. biggrin
biggrin There was a 'Ferret Rescue Charity' stand outside Asdas this morning- so tempted to sign up as a foster parent, gorgeous little furries I think--

A Yak
I was watching Himalaya last night and I really want a Yak (theyre so cute). Anyway Ive got two goldfish as a part ex but E bay has no Yaks for sale sad
I want to keep it in my garden so Im willing to throw in my mower aswell. If anyone is thinking of trading in their Yak you can contact me. I mean come on you might want to move up to a LLama or a Mamouth (still plenty of reasonable second hand ones of those available in rural warwickshire) wink
The mole. It spends most of its life burrying into a nice warm place where it stays for as long as possible, only comming up to the surface when there is other work that needs to be done.
Although most moles do like to perform in solitude and get angry if another comes near, you doget the variety that will only be found in a group. Within this group there is usually a couple of females that get pleasured and sh*gged senseless with every whim cared for. Now who could refuse a good ol' moley gangbang?
We may be blind but that means we know what we're doing in the dark (under the covers) and we can do everything with our powerful hands.
Let us all be a Mole for a day and enjoy the wonders it can bring.
In my Biological and Social Origins lecture today, we watched a film about primates and I just totallly fell in love with this:

It's an AyeAye or Daubentonia madagascerenis. It's supposed to be a tiny little thing.

The Cow.
(Why do we get white milk from black cows and white milk form brown cows.
When they eat green grass and yellowish hay) confused:
the wilderbeast,,they have to travel 100s of miles ,get eaten by crocs, lions cheetas, lepords, ducks mice, hamsters, justabout everythin wants to eat they swim rivers in flood, run accross dry plains ,just to reach their breeding grounds,WOW!! i saw it on BBC 2 so it must be true..

I have to agree and go for Squirrel, cos even though it keep running over the keyboard when I am trying to type and they are very clever.
After squirrel I would have to go for Grey long-eared bat, simply cos they are the rarest mammal in England and now one else would think of them.
The Lesser Brained Boy-Racer (Burberry Hattus)
Cute little things, I feel sorry for them: imagine having to live in a shell-suit and spend your life going round and round a deserted Safeway car park.
Protect them I say-they are a national treasure.

Ah too true agricola.......spotted some the other day as I pulled into a Tesco must have been the mating season cos these young stags were challenging the old bulls.....why I was almost flattered when one of em shouted across to me " what the fLuck are you looking at grandad" as if I were a threat. they were clearly out to impress the female of the species as there was a 'giggle of Britney's' nearby....I think thats what you call em.......recognisable by the multi hooped earrings from the Argos collection, the constant chewing of the bark from the gum tree and the chanting of the words " yeah right"
