I think ankle chains are lovely on bare legs. I cringe when I seem them under stockings or tights. Its justWRONG!
Silky xx
I agree with Silky - on bare legs YES, under stockings NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I wear one on my left ankle, love em....but mines currently broken
Debbiewebs, that's a lovely image. I do love them specifically for their connotation with the P-word. I couldnt meet up with someone from here for instance without wearing one. Need to look the part b/c I'll FEEL the part. (Bitchy, self-indulgent statement coming up) I have tanned skinny shapely ankles and I wear a chunky bracelet with wide-leg linen pants. Really depends on what else you wear and how you present yourself. I could go simple with only a big bold necklace and a similar ankle bracelet (from ethnic retailers?) and the look is quite different. But I do love them. I'm surprised the fashion industry havent done more to shake off the vulgarity and promote it's status in style. better than bringing back the horrendous 80s fashion - way to soon!
I hate ankel chains,
they remind me of my time in prison in the states when they made me do hard graft digging that road.
oppsss sorry thats a scene from a film
never used ankle chains and never will

I just lurvvvvve! MrsFC's
Ankle chains??? My partner loves them!! I don't think I could ever have enough. I think they look quite sexy with the right footwear too. Especially when he's buying them for me!
I can't see Mrs FC's bracelet, just a leg and stilettos. But my fertile imagination tells me it's a sexy one.
I always associated ankle chains with gypsies.. and all that sexy dancing..
so no, I dont see any problem with them at all.
Me Little girl made one last night out of what they called scoobie do's!..
The thing is she had a fit this morning............. as i wouldn't allow her to wear it to school!
Sorry Debbiewebs....... think i have to agree with Mr. Debbiewebs on this one... ankle chains were used as a common recognisance of a prostitute... although they have become more popular in the last few years as a general fashion item, there is still a strong link to prostitution in wearing one as perceived by the general public. Still, it is a free country and you are entitled to wear what you like... although do be aware that some may judge you by the mere fact that you choose to wear one...
Not me though... i believe in live and let live...
