I must admit that I never gave them much thought until now..................but now that you mention them I got to say 'Yes' ..............I do like them.
Never realised they had a connection with prostitution though.................must have been cruising down the wrong streets lol

Ohh debbs, I like em, I will say that they look better on some ankles than others........draws a deep breath and..... cos they don't look great on fat ankles, so if you've got fat ankles then don't bother, try wellington boots instead.

For little old me, it's not so much what ankle chains look like or represent but what they say about the ladies wearing them.
It seems that only ladies who are confident about how their legs look will wear an ankle chain. Adorning your leg with some attention grabbing jewellery only appears to be done by ladies who are comfortable about how their legs appear.
A lady who is comfortable about herself is a happy & confident lady.
So ankle chains are definitely sexy 'cos the lady is sexy.
I love seeing an ankle chain 'cos it draws my attention even more.

Apparantly, but I cant find the source (google is not my friend tonight) a prostitute would wear an ankle chain on her left? ankle. This was the subtle code of a higher class of prostitute to say she was a prostitute. Used in bars and hotels where prostitution wasn't allowed.

Ive heard both the ankle chain story and the earring one too. If they are just old wives tales, then they have been very well told through the years.
maybe its as a result of hearing this story that I've come to associate them with slutty women. As I like my women slutty, I'm all for them.
A nice one can look inviting and I'm sure that one of the Eastern cultures regards bare ankles on a woman as sinful because of their allure.
Just dont get a cheap one from Warren James or Elizabeth Duke or, after six months, your ankle will be a very unsexy shade of green!
