actually things were looking good!!!!!!!!!
the guy showed up and we had a good night
but i had an emergency Â£20 note stashed in my boot
we took him back to ours and 1/2 way thru i took my boots off
now absolutely no sign of the Â£20
hunted high and low and its gone
no way it could`ve fallen out of knee length boots
so single guys r not on our list of favourite people
don`t like to pm him and accuse- he could`ve picked it up by mistake (not likely)
dont think we`ll invite anyone back again in a hurry

If you'd met a single girl and it had happened would you be building coffins for them as well? If someone has a bad experience with a couple does that mean that all couples are the same and that they'll never meet another couple again?
I get mightily pissed off with people coming on here saying "you're a single guy, you must be a liar/cheat/thief/timewaster/asshole/saddo/low life" (delete as appropriate) when they've never even met me.
There are several other single guys that have replied to this thread who probably feel exactly the same way that I do when they see crap like this. I'd rather go for a pint with them than with a couple that are gonna look down their nose at me all night to be honest. It's insulting.

two's company... i love your posts but on this occasion i am 110% behind what steveg has just said....
you are doing every other person a dis-service to making that sweeping generalisation... was it a member of the forum... in which case take it up with a mod... if it was someone that you met thru the ads then maybe your answer then is the choose the people you meet via here... un can see who post regularly and have an idea about them....
in fact.. i actually think you post will do more damage to couples... than it will to single men...

2. Hello to the single guys that Wishmaster and I have met socially............. U have all been lovely true gents and good fun to chat to.............. no problems with any of you............ not sado's etc at all........

yes to accuse all single guys while ur not sure about if he took or not, is insulting to us.
i have had experiences with cpls but i learn from them
next them dont keep the 20 in ur boots
( a single guy meeting a cpl spends alot more than 20 pounds to make a good impression)
count it as a lost 20 pounds- not stolen

well having searched high and low- including the bin to check the condom wrappers etc it definitely went with him
just didnt want to come out and say beware theres a thief!!!!
no u can`t class everyone from 1 persons act!!!!!!!!!!!
will still meet people( that means couples too) just not at home!!!!!!!!!!!
btw have absolutely nothing against single guys - met loads of really nice ones!!!!!!!!!
just seemed a better way to get it off our chests
rather than ring him and get into a row - specially since he knows our car / where we live etc

I an only say what others have said in that you cannot blame ALL single guys for the actions of one individual.... and you don't even have proof that that individual actually did anything wrong!
Some people, if they see money lying around, will take it..... that's not a "man" thing.... it could just have easily have been a woman!
It is annoying losing money, so I can kind of understand you wanting to blame someone, but at the end of the day, you can't do owt about it so forget it. I lost a tenner at the village recently and was well pissed off..... I guess someone could have robbed it, but not likely cos they would have taken the other tenner I had in my pocket too.... but it's gone so don't fret over it.

I'm a single guy (in the sense that I'm no longer married) although I am in a relationship with KcKat (though we don't live together).
I don't really subscribe to the view that single guys in particular get knocked here in the Forum, perhaps because I've never had that kind of experience from my time on SH.
Sometimes I see idiotic posts from single guys, but then again sometimes it's an idiotic post from a single female or even a couple.
There are probably some who think some of my posts are idiotic dunno

but then no-one's ever actually said as much to me, and I've certainly never had a rude PM from anyone.
I do feel a bit sad sometimes when I read a post from someone claiming they don't get any response to their efforts to make the site work for them 'cos the reality is they just don't know what they're missing.
I'll leave it there as I think I'm getting away from the main point in this thread.
