Incorrect spelling, as in the use of "short hand" or phonics, (ie -->h r u<-- instead of how are you)
But, I am open to the POSIBILKITY of someone else joining in with us or perhaps a "soft swing" to start off with.

Stones and glass houses ?????????????????
Quote by Amber12
All I ask of anyone is they do their best and make an effort.
blahblahblah . . . . . . but making the effort really counts and I don't think it's too much to ask.

We're on trial here ??????????????????????
To what end ?
To see if we're good enough for you ?????????????
Personally, I like to set myself very low standards and often fail to achieve even those. That way, I'm rarely disappointed.

You seem unable to tell the difference between a natural typo and the deliberate use of phonics.

No, but if you can't be bothered to spell out a 3-lettered word such as "you" when the keys are all on the same line and the letters are so closely grouped together, it hardly reflects you to be the type of person who could make an effort.
It would also follow that the use of phonics reflects the user to be lazy and lethargic, hardly a good indicator that they'd actually turn up for a meet but would be a let down and a no show.

No end

Am I not allowed to pick and choose who I'd like to talk to and who I wouldn't like to talk to?
Or are you suggesting that everyone who posts on this forum must conform and speak to everyone without ever forming an opinion that you may or may not like that person?

Isn't that a "self-fulfilling prophecy"?

The K for an L is an easy "natural typo" The two keys are after all not only on the same line, but side by side. The missing S, could be seen as "incorrect spelling"
Both of these would have been obvious to someone "doing their best" and "making the effort" - or even - would have been picked up by a simple spell checker such as Google's or ispell.

I can, and often do.

In your opinion.

Not at all, nor do I suggest anyone should have to conform to your standards of communication.

Indeed it often is.

Wibble.

I can't be bothered to argue semantics and I won't be drawn.
It's simple, if you don't like what anyone has to say, stop reading at the point you find the words disagreeable and move on.

I'm very happily married to a wonderful man for the last 16/17

Firstly, hello and welcome.
Out of curiosity, is your husband looking to get involved with you or are you here alone with or without his knowledge?

Wise words.
Well cover me in marmite and call me Irene.
I'll take down my tent and move on.
Welcome to the asylum.

Well, I'd never be brave enough to meet anyone alone so we're most certainly a couple :)
Hubby knows I'm posting on here but he's not posting, he's 'remodeling' the living room at the moment so me and the kids are hiding from the hammering, banging, saw dust and table saw :)
