Another newbie and with a question for you all!

Hi there,yet another newbie introducing myself. I'm a 40yr old male who currently has an ad on the site. Unfortunately i've been put off by the garbage that has been sent to me in response to my ad. Just wondering to find out have any other 'newbies' or even you seasoned campaigners had similar experiences with these kind of idiots.
I'm interested in getting into the scene but unfortunately when your first step is putting an ad onto a site and all you get back are timewasters and pic collectors it kind of puts you off so to speak and makes you wonder is it worth it?
Any similar experiences when people were starting out?
And seeing this is my first post,afternoon to you all. wave

I have to say I have had the total opposite to you....l I have had are nice friendly replies to my ad and pleasant PMs from those on this site. Of course there have been a few dodgy people, but this has been in the minority.
The way I see it is.....if you don't like the replies you get just ignore them and concentrate on the nice more genuine ones you do get. Also the longer you are on this site the more likely the more longstanding members will begin to include you in things!

As a fellow newbie I can say all I have hed is posotive replies with everyone making me feel really welcome....
In reply to your bad responses just delete them and forget about them as they are worth the time or the effort.
Just concentrate on the decent people on here.
And believe me there are lots of them...

I think everyone gets idiots replying, whoever they are. But if they are obviously up to some scam or other, report the ad using the "report this ad " facility cool

Well I'm fairly new here, and very new to the forum so first things first wave

I had my doubts as to how genuine most people and ads are, but then........
an e mail arrived, I replied, we phoned, a meet was arranged, fairly locally, and my first experience was........absolutely amazing. cool

I hope to get to know some more people here,

Thanks for the input to those of you who did. Hopefully as time goes by (sounds like a good title for a song!) i shall get to know you a bit more.

You are now in the right place. Would you go to munches later? If you would then you might have a good time and find what you want without the time wasters. I havent been to one yet but I have talked to people who have had a great time. Hope you enjoy your stay and find what you want.

Ha ha,yes i did. One which was genuine and i've conversed with but unfortunately the remainder where rather 'dubious' to say the least. But we live and learn don't we!

Our experience has been that you get into this and you think at first that all swingers will be like-minded people.
But unfortunately, swingers are like every other sector of the population, so you get a percentage of idiots, timewasters and whatever, same as every other walk of life!
Single guys get a bad reputation, because there are an awful lot of timwasters, whether because there's a higher percentage, or just more of them out there!
It's not easy, but if you can take your time, and persevere, you will find people!
