Just wondering if there are many bikers on here and what's your ride.
I've got an FZ6N for fun and a CG125 for the daily stuff. Dream bike is one with a comfy seat.
Yep
I have a Yamaha XJR 1300, very comfy ride,
Reacher
as soon as I can find someone to do the work I need to make my bike secure. I will have a Triumph Speed Triple in flame red.
my last bike was a Honda Hornet (yellow)
and before that a Z600r Ninja
and before that a Honda Superdream redface
and my first bike was a CG125... many moons ago.
Howdy Al, welcome to the forums.
I got rid of my st1100 a while ago and am currently bike-less.
I have a feeling that if I see a nice Harley clone for sale in North Wales at the right price I may be tempted to indulge again.
Hi and welcome! I used to be a biker sad But too scared to ride anymore... but had a Fireblade which I really really miss....
Hope you have fun on here!
xx
Kona Lana'i 2007

I am not a biker
but I do sort of have in my possession a ducati st4 :lol2:
I have been on it once :scared:
if you go in the chat rooms on a Sunday and a Wednesday(I think)you'll find there's a bikers chat room (usually on server 3 but not exclusively so look around)The guys and girls that go in there are a great bunch ....well they talk to me and I dont even ride lol. I know they organise some very successful events throughout the year.
Best of luck

Mind how you go though talking about bikes.....some think we are all nutters that go at one zillion miles an hour, and are the worst road users out there.
Anyway my bike cannot go that fast.

Yeah... it could any one of those things, I'm sure it's a debate in itself as to why people view profiles. ;)
EDIT: Oh... and to answer the OP, I have a bike but it's of the pedal variety!

I can safely say I've never hugged a tree and yes, I wear sandals right through the summer but that doesn't say anything more than I like shoes, except to you perhaps!

Did that make sense in your head?! dunno
:giggle:
Sort of. :P
I've got a PS3, PS2 DSI, DS and Tweenies Trike. I had a Raleigh Chopper once too, but I had it nicked when I was a kid by a group of old bullies who chucked it over a building site and smashed the handle bars.
My dad made me some new ones and they were wider than normal, it made the bike look quite cool and I could stick cards in the spokes and make it go "brrrrrrrr"
Why do bikes not have names? Why is everything a It's like a convention of algebra geeks sometimes... Why not call it a Honda Speed, or a Suzuki Noisy? Ducati Bloody-Fast and scary?
It's bad enough with The German car makers (and some French ones) and their use of numbers and letters. There's 26 letters and you can arrange them in plenty of ways, there's enough words there to name every bike simply for thickos like me for whom GSK125 PQV H1T M3 B4B7 1 M0R3 T1M3 mean nothing.
I've never ridden a bike. I'm too scared to. I do rather like them though, especially when they can zip down the motorway in between traffic jams. Not so keen when they race up behind you and flash their lights at you to get out of the way on a single track road. That usually sees me slow down to 10mph to hack them off.
I used to like Junior Kick Start too, which should have been renamed "Lets injure children!" The number of times you saw little Danny fall down that huge slope onto his arse and then a bike fall on him. Then Peter Purves would run over and shove a microphone in his 9 year old face. "So Danny, did that 30 foot fall and then a scrambler bike falling on your head, hurt?" "No Pete, I enjoyed it immensely, I'm off to do the same thing now on a Quad bike! Wish me luck!"
I understand the need for protective clothing too, but leather? Is that the strongest most durable material available? What about Kevlar? Teflon? Why not have a suit that is just airbags, so when you fall off the airbags deploy and you can bounced along the ground safely until you come to a halt in a field and cows can play volleyball with you until help arrives? It'd be just like zorbing.
I think I need my medication. I'm off for a lie down.
Mine's called Helga lol .
The Honda Speed is, I believe, a 125cc bike available overseas.
You can get airbag jackets for bike riders.
Peter Purves was one of the biggest users of 'commentators curse' in that whenever he said how well someone was doing, they fell off!
Are you a closet Britney fan as well?
Mal
wink
Yamaha R6 and Kawasaki ZR7 here... and a few older Classics x
