Any computer buffs out there?

I have been trying for weeks now to get in the chat room.
I have put out requests for help and had a few replies, but no one seems to be able to point to the problem. I have even pm'd a member of the team but did not even get a responce from him??
My problem is: when I log on to the chat page I can see the authorising sign which says that I am authorised. It then goes into the site, seems to connect OK, and the headings in the boxes appear. But thats all!!
There is no room list or members lists in the respective boxes.
I have down loaded the latest flash player, and even turned off my security to see if that was blocking it. all to no avail.
Please someone come up with the answer Pleeeese!! :cry:

well im no expert.... but it sounds to me like you might have downloaded the latest flash but not installed it or be running it.
re-booting the computer is sometimes a good idea too.

When you get to this stage, just leave it there for a while, sometimes just a min will do another 5 mins, then all of a sudden you will go in to a chatroom smile

tried all that. according to macromedia i have the latest version and it's running fine, is there any way i can test it?

I run Macromedia Flash player 8, whats your version?
Have you tried going in your control panel and removing it then reinstalling it ?

u want to try and remove your browser cookies aswell sometimes that can be the cause of the problem.
