Any Ice-breaking tips out there?

Normally when we swing with other couples we usually meet them for a drink and a short social event then go our separate ways .. talk about it and decide to meet them again or not.
We then arrange a meet and maybe have a drink in a pub then go back to ours or theirs.
We are struggling with ideas on how to break the ice and get from chatting to playing mode in a fun way. What has tended to happen is we chat for ages and then sloooowly progress and ends up getting to 5am or some really ridiculous hour in the morning.
Any ideas on how we can break the ice and go from chatting to playing/swinging in a relatively quick and fun way??? Playing striping card games is boring when you use it all the time confused

I usually find on the first meet the nerves on both sides tend to override any carnal desires or preconceived ideas of what should take place more so in the peeps home (there is however an exception to this).The second meet if it happens tends to be more fruitful as you already know them and vice versa the desire is there because you were afforded a second invite and you accepted Personally, like a great many i prefer clubs as a venue for a first meet as it is a lot safer for all parties Hope this helps smile

Every time someone talks about "breaking the Ice" I feel the urge to upgrade my medical insurance. :shock:

You could always offer them a bottle of something, go into the kitchen, quickly strip into your undies and proceed to tip said bottle all overyourself. You could then ask if they are thirsty they should be lapping it up. :rascal:
Not only would it scare the living daylights out of them but break the ice and get you all the attention straight away. :lickface:
Massages too would be a nice slow way of introducing touching. You can still chat away and no doubt you will be graddually touched in more intermate areas as the night went on. Say about 8pm? smackbottom

Once in a nightclub, a man threw the ice from his drink on the floor, stamped on it ands then said "well, now I've broken the ice, do you want a shag?"

sorry can't help, we have been swinging now for about 5 years and i still find it difficult like you its usually silly hours in the morning b4 anything happens unless the other people are more 4wards than me :lol2:
Its not to bad when hubbies there cause he'll just come str8 out and ask but i can't do that

we're the same,it's always daft'o'clock when we can't take talking anymore.
we're thinking of taking the dvd player & putting a saucy movie on next time,and you can talk about whats happening on screen,might give us some ideas too lol

Tattoos!
They are my fave way to break the Ice (lol) and get things moving, easy to talk about, see, touch and hey presto :twisted:
but then if they havn't got any - you can always insist that you think they are shy and go on a hunt the tatt mission lol

We have tried strip card games and when all clothes are off go onto forfeits .. then after a while we get involved and play ...
I like the search for tatoo's idea biggrin

.. I dont have one yet but sounds fun anyway.
Most of the couples we have met are relativly new like us so asking them how they break the ice might not really work.
nn .. My hubby isnt much more forward than myself so thats why it doest work - lol.
So my next question is ... anyone know any good forfiets we can use???
