going on from that, getting known enough to be invited to munches works for me, as it allows myself, and other people to know if we get on and click smile

and he also get to nick everyones satnav's while they're busy munching, typical wide boy :giggle:
dont be silly, i just wait until everyone is in the after munch hotel room, i know you are all in one place then ;)

having just read the profile I have one comment to make...
I would suggest maybe removing the reference to looking for someone a bit special.
yes ok this is the pot calling the kettle black here... yes you can meet someone very very special I know I certainly have but I think it might put a few people off if they think you are looking for a relationship.

for the record I wasn't looking for a relationship when I met Celery, it just happened and I am so glad it has happened and I wouldn't change it for the world. Celery you mean the world to me and I love you more than you know

I'm not sure, but it may have something to do with the bad reputation single males seem to have here. It's not entirely unwarranted, however, as 80% of the single guys who respond to our ad have been no-shows as of late when we've scheduled a meet. It's not fair on you, as someone genuinely interested in meeting up, but it's an obstacle you're automatically faced with. But, based upon our own experience, we've become rather suspicious of single males as of late. I just hope there's a way to overcome this before we start tarring everyone with the same brush.

Welcome to the forum.
I've just looked at your profile and there's no mention of timewasters which tells me you've took on board the advice given :thumbup:
I'll echo what's been said already - like the pics and the ads OK. Only thing is there's probably about 2000 other "OK" ones. If you're going to use the ads system it might be worth having a look at some of the other single bloke ads to get some ideas and check out the competition.
Now you've joined in on the forum you'll find that - if you hang around a lot of the regular blokes on here do well because we all feel we know them a bit.
There's also the social side of it. Socials and Munches are a good way to meet groups of people and also let them meet you - and if you turn up for a social then there's a good chance you'll turn up for a meet (that's the way I always look at it).
Can't really comment on the chat room as I don't venture in there very often.
Whichever way you decide to utilise the site's facilities good luck with it wink

hello pinigrogio, you did in fact send me a one liner asking to see my pics a couple of days ago, i didnt reply becasue im of the ethos that you get out what you put in....it was a real disappointment coz id followed this thread and liked the change you made to your profile and yes youre pics are good....so maybe it is your replies you need to improve?
